hello everyone today I'm going to show you how to create an estimate for graphic design services using Tally Doc which is an easy to use invoice and estimate generator that anyone can use to get started first we'll need an account to log in. We already did this in a previous video so make sure to check out our getting started series, but you just click the login button. So in this case we are already have an account. Now that we're logged, in to get started you want to go to the estimates section by clicking the link on the left . Now click the new estimate button. This estimate that we're going to create is for our customer Jane Thomas. After talking to Jane, it sounds like she wants a logo designed so we'll add a line item for our service that we'll call logo design. The rate we'll charge for this is going to be $500 for one logo. In the line item notes I'll put the file formats that we'll include, so include jpeg, PNG and, SVG. No shipping for this because it's a service so I'll put zero. We won't be charging any tax for this so I'll skip over that field. In the estimate notes we'll put a final message for our customer. In this case we'll say the delivery time is five business days. Now click save and we're finished! The estimate is ready and we can take a look at the details by clicking on the magnifying glass. There it is, we can now send this to Jane by clicking the send email button or we can click the PDF button like so, and it'll open up PDF version if you prefer to download or print this out, you can do it that way. But that's it! if you want to make any changes we can go back to our estimates list and click the edit icon and make any changes and save again one more thing you'll notice is the price is generated for you automatically based on your line items and we also get an ID number and the date so this will help keep you organized once your list starts growing.
