how's it going guys in this video we're going to talk about invoices and payment plans you can collect payment from your clients by creating an invoice in the system to create an invoice go to the client screen scroll down to the invoices section and if you're going to create just one invoice use the add invoice manually enter a description select a due date and pick your invoice template the invoice template is going to control how the invoice looks and click on save invoice if the client has entered their credit card information and if you have auto pay enabled the balance on the invoice will automatically be charged on the due date if you want to manually process the invoice you can click on this link that says process payment this particular payment failed because i don't have any client payment information i can view the invoice by clicking on this link here i can email it to the client by clicking here [Music] i can mark this as paid by clicking here i would use this for example if the client paid me in person or through some other method and i can click this link to delete the invoice let's look at what the invoice looks like it's got your logo at the top your company name your company address would be down here if it was filled in the invoice number who the invoice is for the description the line items and the amount and a link for them to be able to pay [Music] although you can create invoices manually you typically want to create a series of invoices for the months that are coming ahead so to create a series of invoices you add a payment plan let's go ahead and delete this invoice and let's add a payment plan my existing payment plans are listed in this box i'm gonna pick the nine months at 99 and i'm going to pick a start date and i click on add payment plan and that's going to generate nine invoices ing to the setup that i've configured in the payment plan for nine months at 99. i can see the due date is 219 and 319 and so on and so forth each of these invoices will be automatically processed on the due date if the person has their card on file and if you've configured auto pay in your company setup let's say you want to set up your own payment plan with your own prices go to templates payment plans and here you can edit one of these payment plans or you can add your own payment plan you can also duplicate one of the existing payment plans and modify that one [Music] let's go ahead and edit this duplicate and let's call it 10 months at 150. we'll click on save this particular payment plan is going to use this invoice template and the invoices are going to be monthly you also have the option of having invoices to be configured weekly let's edit the first invoice the first invoice is going to have this title here's the building sequence i can pick one through 36 billion sequences the line items on this invoice are going to be a sign up fee at 100 dollars the credit analysis fee at zero and the monthly service fee currently at 99 let's change that to 150. let's save it and let's go and edit the next invoice this is building sequence two i don't have the other line items on here because it's no longer the first month but i'm going to change the monthly service fee to 150 click on save invoice and i'll go ahead and do that for the rest as well now that i have my payment plan set up how i like it i can go ahead and go to any one of my clients scroll down to the invoices section and i'll pick the 10 months at 150 payment plan and add it i'll show you one more way to configure your payment plans suppose you had a payment plan that you wanted to set up to be bi-weekly so one invoice every two weeks what you can do in that case let's go ahead and duplicate this one we'll edit this we'll name this to bi-weekly payment plan i'll change the frequency to weak click on save and what i want to do is i want to delete the even sequences and what this means is that on week one it's going to send out the initial invoice week two it's not going to send anything out week three it's going to send out the 99 invoice week five another one week seven and week nine obviously you'd want to add more invoice sequences to suit your needs alright guys that's all i have for this video reach out to us if you have any [Music] questions
