so depop has two shipping options one of them being depop shipping and I'm going to talk about step by step how to use depop to ship your sold items so to utilize depop shipping you have to set this up as you're listing the item you can go back and swap an items shipping option later but the most efficient way to do this is going through the steps of doing it right in the moment when you're listing the item so I have this Harley-Davidson Jersey here that we are going to list and I'll show you guys how to set up and use depop shipping option so you're going to list your item the way you normally would is lay it out you take all of your pictures you write your captions and it's just as you would when you're normally listing so once you have it all set up and it looks good when you scroll all the way down to the bottom you're going to see your shipping section and there will be a parcel size section and if this doesn't show up for you you can click the change and then you can select depop shipping or other we're going to to select depop shipping so under the parcel size tab you're going to have a few options ranging from xxs to XL and this is going to be the weight of your item including its packaging so this is where a scale is needed I got this scale from a thrift store and I've used it ever since and all you do is you set your item on it you weigh it you can see that this jersey weighs 8.5 Oz so I'm going to go over to the parcel Tab and find the parcel that is corresponding in size so if it's 8.5 Oz I'm going to click Under 12 oz and I confirm that and you can see there my parsel size is selected to size small so now I can go ahead and post this listing and it is ready to go so this means now when someone goes and buys this item the buyer is going to spend and money towards a label so the buyer will be paying for a label now and that is the entire process of setting up depop shipping after it sells you're going to receive a notification from depop saying your item has been sold and they're going to send you a barcode that has the shipping label for you and I'm going to show you guys what that looks like so now I've taken this over to my computer because I print out all my labels on a thermal printer or a label printer and if you don't have a thermal printer you can print it out on a regular printer and cut out the piece of paper with the label on it and tape it to your package and I'm going to show you if you don't have a regular printer how you can do this one other way but to get to the label that depop send you I'm going to show you guys how to do that so in your seller Hub you will see your sold items this one says manual shipping this one says depop shipping when you click on that right there it says your next step so it's get shipping label and get QR code this QR code is going to be the QR code you're going to need if you want to take it to the post office and get your label there but if you're going to print at home you'll click this get shipping label and it's going to pull up the label itself where you can just click in the top right hand corner print and it's just as easy as that you print this out and cut it out if it's on paper or Stick it to your package if it's on a label so once you have everything printed out and you have your label on your packages you're going to take it to the post office and drop them off and it's as easy as that and once the post office scans that label the buyer of that item will be notified that the item is officially in transit um because dp's going to give them a corresponding tracking number with their item so you have no other work to do and uh you're not losing any money in this the buyer is paying for everything entirely so I hope this helped you guys I hope it cleared it up I know depop shipping is kind kind of confusing cuz there's really no um clear steps that are given to you when you're first starting out so hope this helps leave a like drop a comment down below if you have any questions for me and subscribe to the channel if you're not already and as always I will see you guys in the next video [Music]
