training video number one so I will teach you the five sections you should include in your customer service CV or resume number two I will then give you 10 outstanding words to use on your CV or resume that will definitely grab the attention of the hiring manager and number three I will then give you a brilliant personal statement to you in your customer service CV or resume before finally because that motivates me to create more content for you thank you very much indeed okay let's get started and I will tell you the five sections to include in your customer service CV or resume now I recommend you keep your customer service CV or resume to just two pages in length now you should do this because the hiring manager has lots of CVS and resumes to work through and you can grab their attention in two pages so you need to make their life as easy as possible so keep your CVR resume to just two pages in length now I recommend you include five sections here's what to include on page one of your CV or resume so start off with your full name and contact details so at the top of your CV or resume include your full name direct contact number and email address now you should also make sure that your contact telephone number has an answer phone message that is professional sounding let's assume they call you to invite you along for an interview but they get an unprofessional answer phone message well they might then hang up and decide not to invite you all of these little tips will help you to get hired so right at the top include your name and contact details don't forget soon I'm going to give you the exact template to use then move on to section one now this is what is called a personal statement it's the first thing the hiring manager is going to read so we have to grab their attention you can do that by including a 150 word brief introduction that summarizes your suitability for the customer service position you have applied for so that's section one of your customer service CV or resume in a second I'm going to give you a brilliant 100 150 word personal statement that you can use but it needs to grab their attention then carrying on on page one you come to section two and this is where you include your education history and qualifications so here you should list the schools colleges or universities you have attended the subjects you studied and then the qualifications attained so that's section two and then finally on page one of your resume you will include any work experience you have to date now your work experience should be a summary of the places you have worked or volunteered the main duties you had and also any key achievements you attained in the position so that's the first page then we move on to page two of your customer service CV or resume now on page two what you should include is hobbies and interests now this is a brief outline of your interests out of work you need to be careful what you put down for your hobbies or intra interests what you don't want to do is say socializing with friends at the weekend that's not a good thing to include when we come on to the template I will give you some examples of positive things to include on section four of your CV or resume and then section five should be references now a reference is the name and contact details of two people who will vouch for your suitability for the position now some people people think it's a good idea to put references available upon request don't do that because when the hiring manager is looking through your resume if they see there are details of two people they can contact straight away to vouch for your credibility and your ability to do well in that position then it gives them the confidence that you are going to be a good fit for their organization so that's the five things you should include on your customer service CV and resume let me now give you 10 great words you can use on your customer service CV or resume now these are brilliant to include on that personal statement now you don't have to include all of these words but try and include some of them when we come on to the example personal statement you will see that I've included a number of these words now I will leave the tenth word till the last and that's the best one I think you can include on a customer service CV or resume so the first word is commercially focused if you say you are commercially focused in your personal statement it means you understand how your work impacts The Wider business so you are aware that you've got to you know provide brilliant customer service to their customers because then that increases sales and it also improves customer reviews so customer focus the second word to use is loyal so everyone wants to hire loyal employees and if you are loyal you will probably stay working for their company Long Term which means they then don't have to re-advertise the position later on down the line the third word to consider using on your CV or resumes energetic I love this word I I'm a very energetic person now when you're energetic it rubs off onto other people now if you're energetic you are upbeat and full of energy and that will make their customers feel really good the fourth word is passionate so you could say that you genuinely love your work you're a passionate person who likes taking care of customers and that brings me on to the fifth word which is caring if you care it means that you enjoy taking care of people and meeting their needs so if you have a caring nature you will most probably be suited to a customer service position the sixth word is team oriented now customer service roles even though you will most of the time work on your own dealing with customers you will be part of a wider team a customer service team now if you're team oriented it means you collaborate well with other people to achieve a common goal the next word is cost conscious I love this word so if you're cost conscious you take care of company supplies and resources which helps the company to increase profits so it's a good thing the next word is industrious if somebody is industrious it means that they work hard they are diligent and they are focused in their work and the ninth word before we come on to the ten for my favorite one is self-motivated self-motivated people get on with their work they can be left alone and they don't have to be constantly monitored or supervised let's have a look at the tenth word that you could include on your CV or resume for a customer service position and that one is role model you will say that you're going to be a positive role model for their company and you will represent the company brand when dealing with customers that means that you you know you care about their company we've all had it before in when dealing with customer service agents or customer service Representatives you can tell the ones who are positive role models for the company because they love their job they're really passionate about it and that's great for the company so there's 10 words you can include on your customer service CV or resume that will grab the attention of any hiring manager let me now give you that 150 word customer service personal statement and I will then give you the template you need to know how to structure all of this those five different sections and I will show you the exact structure you should be using I will then tell you where you can download it and tweak it amend it and add your own detail so here's first of all that customer service CV and resume personal statement so don't forget section one is the personal statement it's the first thing the hiring manager is going to read and that goes right at the very top there it's a brief introduction that summarizes your suitability for the customer service role let's take a look at one thank you for considering my application for this customer service position I am a highly motivated passionate energetic and commercially focused teamworker who understands how Paramount excellent customer service is to the success of a business in recent years I have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills which means I will consistently be a positive role model for your products services and brand I am a high achiever in addition to attaining excellent academic grades I was regularly praised by my manager in my previous role for my flexibility loyalty and commitment to continuous Improvement and development if you hire me I will ensure how I serve your customers positively impacts company reviews and sales and protects your hard-earned reputation in this competitive industry wow that that is an attention-grabbing personal statement for a customer service CV or resume it's a brilliant one and again I will tell you where you can download this and more templates very soon okay let me now give you the customer service CV and resume template so I will now show you how to put all of that information together in just two pages here we go okay so this is an example template you can use for your customer service CV or resume so right at the very top put your full name then put your contact telephone number make sure it's a direct contact telephone number don't forget the tip I gave you right at the very start about a professional sounding answerphone message then put your email address there and also your home address and then you start with the personal statement and you can see how I have boxed off this personal statement I believe when you box off each section it makes it easier for the hiring manager to read and it also looks more professional you will also see that I have used aerial font it just stands out really well you're not using a fancy font to try be creative the whole point of this is to make it easy for the hiring manager to read don't forget they've got lots of applications to read through lots of CVS and resumes you are making it as easy as possible for them so we're going to the personal statement thank you for considering my application for this customer service position I am a highly motivated passionate and commercially focused teamworker who understands how Paramount excellent customer services to the success of a business so you can see that's that's attention grabbing straight away you are being professional and you are telling them in the first paragraph how you understand how important it is to deliver excellent customer service and you're talking a little bit about how you have developed excellent communication and interpersonal skills meaning that you can consistently be a great role model for their product services and their brand you are then saying you are a high achiever so that will inevitably be attractive to a hiring manager if you are a high achiever and then you are explaining why and then at the end you are saying what you'll do if they hire me so it's a really good attention-grabbing personal statement then in the next box we have the next section education so put the name of the school college or university you attended and the dates that you attended and then the subjects that you studied or the and the qualifications and grades attained it doesn't have to be in depth just a brief detail in chronological order and then your work experience to put the name of the company the date to and from that you worked there a brief outline of your main responsibilities if you had loads of responsibilities don't include all of them just the main ones and if you can choose responsibilities that are similar to the position you are applying for then include them and then any achievements in the position say what you achieved in the role that you know you helped the company increase sales you help them to save money you streamlined office processes something like that include an achievement for each position and then you go on to your interests okay now this is important so I've put down four examples I've put studying self-development courses you could give an example of what you've been studying reading you could say the type of books you like reading physical fitness you could say that you play team sports or you attend the gym three times a week that would tell me that you take care of yourself and you're more likely to have high concentration and energy levels when you are at work and volunteering if you've done any volunteering make sure you put that down volunteering is really good other good ones to include in hobbies and interests is playing musical instruments or you are part of group activities and then don't forget the references so put the name of the person the position that they have the job title and their contact details to people it looks fantastic when there's two people on there don't put um you know references available upon request where possible put the names and details contact details of two people who will vouch for your credibility make sure you ask them for permission to put their names down that's important and then again if you want to you can repeat your contact details because if you think about this they're reading through your template and again they get to the end they think yeah I want to contact this person to save them scrolling to the top they can just
