[Music] I'm ab guer and I'm the CEO of shake and I'm on tap and the invoice is really your key to getting paid so it's a really important thing to remember and and do right um so you know we have a couple uh a couple tips to to make sure you get paid as quickly as possible um and you know a lot of them are very straightforward but uh you know one is uh log your hours so you know if you're if you're doing hourly work um or if it's Project based keep track of what you're doing a lot of people let that slide and they forget until the very end of a 3-month project and then go back and try and remember what they were doing and it's not you know it's hard to remember you're looking through emails and calendars um do it when you're doing it and you know it'll be a lot easier for you to get your invoice out on time and get paid faster um so that's like the big the big first uh first tip um make sure you have your contact information on your invoice you'd be shocked at how many people don't do this um the faster somebody can reach out to you with a question and get that resolved the faster you'll get paid so make sure your contact information is on your invoice um uh make sure the due date is clear uh people will you know forget to pay you if the due date isn't clearly stated uh on your invoice so make sure that's front and center and very clear uh and then make sure you send it on time uh if you don't send it on time you will not get paid on time so send it on time uh and then follow up [Music]
