hi in this video we want to talk in these seven five Alpha version of LibreOffice we want to talk about templates so let's create a new document and this document is based on a template on a default template so let's go to file templates we can see here this default template have a check so all the documents will be created from this one if we want to change right click on another template and set as default now all the documents will be created based on this modern template Let's test it so let's write title and let's style as heading 1. you can see how it look now let's change the template let's go to templates file template on set this one as default and let's open a new document and let's do the same thing let's write title and head style as heading 1. you can see they are different because they came from two different templates what we want today is to create our template and use it in our documents so we have to style for example heading 1. let's suppose we want or here to have a line spacing of double and the font size to be 140 and what we want to change heading and you want heading 1 we want a border under the text we want to be hairline black and for default paragraph Style what we want we want alignment to be justified so let's test what we have done until now let's write title let's write some text let's style it this is heading 1 we have that line we have that double space and we have the text which is justify now let's style heading 2. I want to use uh subtitles so let's uh have a font color of blue so if I have here a subtitle and subtext I can press here heading 2 or I can press Ctrl 2. and I can make these as a subtitle so this is how I want all the documents to look I remove everything from this page to be empty and I save it as in my template as best template and I can check here set as default template or I could change later let's close it I don't save anything and when I open a new writer document let's write a title let's write some text let's write a subtitle and some text now let's see if it work so subtitle Ctrl F1 Ctrl 1 Ctrl 2 and I have everything uh how I wanted the text is justify the title it's underline and so on so let's see we have seen the best template is checked if I set this as default if I open a new document so let's write the same title text subtitle if I check here Ctrl 1 Ctrl 2 you can see they are not justified not double space not border and so on so it's not the way we want to so what we want is in the file templates we want the best template to be as default set as default this way anytime we open a new document our document will look the same we don't have to create again the style and so on so let's write some title some text uh this is text body here so subtitle and let's press enter and another text okay so we want everything to look nice let's see that was all about templates I hope this was helpful from templates we can manage them and save as we can save them thanks for watching and please subscribe for more video thank you
