[Music] hello ingredients welcome to video number four in the series of logic invoice on this video i'm gonna show how you start setting up uh email how you start linking your server or a fusion invoice to an email server so you can start a productive site where you can actually interact with customers and so forth so let me go ahead and open up actually let me leave it this small let me zoom in right there so let me log in so you'll notice that i have two customers right um what we're also gonna do is go we're gonna go under settings systems excuse me settings we're gonna do is under mail right here on the on the right hand side so you'll notice that i already have information here so all you're going to do here is select the protocol you want and then uh either point your smtp i'm just doing it to a local host right here so that's why i'm looking i'm using uh just everything local but you would put all your ports and so forth everything that corresponds to this particular email uh to the email that's going to be sending out um one of them might be or the emails that you want might want to set up is not no reply so it sends it out but then people don't reply on that or you could actually set up uh two emails one would be this like what i did is this logic invoice um and then the other one will be no reply so you could play with that as you wish um and this that's it under servers you're not going to put anything unless you're going to be doing the ssl then you say yes and then you end up setting everything uh seo that's up to you if you want to set that up once that piece is done you could save it okay now the next thing you're going to do is now create um basically customers customers are the ones that are going to be bringing in the the income so we're going to go under accounting should be under not accounting is going to be under billing so here's customer and you can see i already have customer one and two how you set these up you just click on add and i'm just gonna call this customer three customer three and then the email would be the email that i have copy so okay that's gonna be the email and let me get the right password copy okay so we got the password we got the the email and we can save it so now if you notice i have three customers now we're gonna check i have it running over here here's the email client and you'll notice that here now on customer c3 i already have an email and if i open it so then all i'm going to do is here is just i'm going to copy this copy the link and i'm just going to dump it over here just so i know that it opens on this particular page and there it is to log in to his or her site they're going to go ahead enter their email what he or she set up as the account so we're going to log into customer number three and the password okay and log in and you'll notice that the dashboard to a customer is very different but on here you could they could have access to their invoices they could change their password um which that might be something that's recommended um but you can see it has to do with the particular customer um they'll be looking at their invoices and so forth so on the next video um i'll go and start showing how you start invoicing people and so forth and again all that good just subscribe thumbs up and i'll see the next one thanks a lot
