welcome back to another video so today I'm going to be sharing about my experiences with um Louis Vuitton repairs so one of the experiences is going to be an in-person repair where I drove to a Louis Vuitton shop and another repair is going to be through their online services um the first repair I'm going to talk about is the in-person one because that's the one I differs so I bought this bag well I won it at the what auction for $200 and it was vintage and this part was broken so there's no way for me to like attach a strap to carry it and then I went to the store multiple times trying to get in contact with this guy named Chris because he's like the repairs expert and just seemed like the sales associates didn't want you to repair a bag they wanted you to buy a bag because they don't make any commissions off of you repairing the bag maybe the the rep Paris man does make a commission but how much are you going to make off of $200 right so finally I got his number I emailed him I emailed him the damage like no response finally I was able to get in touch with him I don't even know how think I just got lucky and I got an appointment I went for the appointment showed him the bag he told me he could repair it for $200 so okay great so he packaged it and send it and he says that when it's back they'll give me a call or a text so I was like okay great um and then you pay once you pick it up so I think that's great like what if they lose your bag like anyways so finally after like a few weeks I think I got the back back went to the store bought it picked it up um they gave me a dust bag for it which is great because from whatnot I didn't get anything for it they just sent me the bag so now I have a custom size it's probably not custom size it's just a size in my back I got like a dust bag for it and like it just like it's just like the perfect sides for it um which is great because these cost about like $25 $30 maybe a little bit cheaper because it's not that big so it's like free money you know and now I have something to put it in if I want to store it and then they just gave me um a bag to carry it out at the store with a re and a re holder all in all I felt hassled because they were like well we need to prove that you you were the original owner for this bag in order for us to repair it it's not in your purchase history purchasing history so you know I'm such a smart ass I'm just like well this bag is older than me it's given to me by my grandparents how the hell can that be in my purchasing history if it's older than me and the guy just looked at me like oh well in that case we'll just fix then and I mean I am a few years older than this bag but I um sometimes um at the gym when I'm on vacation like the workers will come up to me and be like um how old are you and I'm like why they're like um are your parents okay with you being here like do they know that you're here I'm just like do I look like I'm 12 to you I'm like I'm almost 30 thank you very much and they're like no no no no no you look like you're 18 I'm like then you shouldn't have anyways so when I said that the guy just goes okay we'll fix it for you then um but it's like okay I have to go out of my way and kind of Lie to get my bag fixed when it's your freaking bag and it got fixed but I just feel like it's just so annoying and I have to drive there right and like and now I have his number right so I have his direct line and now he's all friendly like sending me this is the only Louis Vuitton in this um area do you want it like now that he see my purchase history he's like trying to sell me everything and being really friendly and now that I have that relationship it's like okay he's going to fix any bag I sent him but I still have to drive there and it's just annoying I have to drive there to pick it up um to whereas the other repair going through the online is way easier especially if you don't live near your store and the way they package it you get just more stuff so I'm very glad that I got it fixed because um now I can use it and that love it and for $200 to fix it and I spent $200 to to buy it so this tab was only $100 but I wanted to buy the strap the original strap for it that was like an additional 100 so that's why it was 200 and now thinking about is like I should have just not bought the strap but whatever I can always resell the strap like whatever I am fine um as far as like that experience goes I would just never ever go in person in store to get anything fixed um so the next item I want at auction is this bowling vanity I didn't show it to you guys on my whatnot auction videos because it wasn't at my house at the time so when I bought it it was fine it was in working condition however these little nudits or whatever the hell they're called are all like really old and like fluffy and like was going to like break probably I don't know and need like oil and then on a cruise ship it broke broke right like just one okay there's four only one broke and then I just went and ripped off all four cuz it's like at the point what are we going to do and this DRP came from like another bag that's why it's like really old looking whatever so I went on the Louis vuon app requested a service got a date for like like a FaceTime chat with them and then they're really nice on FaceTime and I showed them the back kind of like like what needs to be fixed and then they were able to type in whatever and give me a quote right on the spot they're like okay you have to give us the handles we're going to put back the old handles which it was like okay whatever cuz if I wanted like new handles it was going to be like almost $1,000 and they're like okay we're going to fix all four of these for like2 200 some dollars no it was 400 cuz it was like a hundred each so it's going to be $400 and if you won the new handles it's going to be another three something so this going to be like seven something I'm like just just use the old handle like whatever that was really shocked when I got it back so once they have it ready it's repaired they send you an email with a link to pay once you pay they ship it back to you and also like you just find a random box you put it in they send you the uh label you just attach the label and send it off and first of all I just want to show you how I got this package okay like first of all okay I was like looking at it earlier sorry so I'm to kind of look it put it back so you can kind of well ship it to you in this box which I love because you can't tell like what the it is I don't want my getting stolen but when you open it baby girl look at this like what's good okay like this entire inside is a beautiful all right and then you have your other box all right now I'm going to take out the other box oh you just pretend like the bag is in there it's not we all know but like just pretend like this was what I got okay and they're the same price as if you go to the store but you save gas and time and energy okay oh sorry you get big giant box because it fits in here you open this giant box up then you get it inside this large dust bag that cost a lot of money if you were to buy one cuz it's large with a drawring and then you get this receipt holder and then inside you get your receipt it's like it's so it's like a letter from that it's so nice okay anyways so that's that and this box you can buy it for like probably $50 or $60 cuz it's big so we spent 400 to fix this and there's no tax no shipping it's just 400 right so that box is like 50 60 bucks like the even the receip holders like they cost money right so it's like okay we probably fix this back for 300 and then to my shocking surprise they gave me brand new handles okay these are new handles the old ones are really old okay look at this is like old ass like look look at that new handles okay then I noticed that all four whatever are fixed and then they did email me about it saying like oh we have to fix this in order to fix that it's going to be free of charge I didn't know what the they were talking about I was just like okay they're like we need your permission please say okay I'm just like okay okay okay and then this is brand new as well it's like we take it on cruises so it gets water humidity this is brand new as well okay not only do they fix off four brand new handles brand new this same price the trim is brand new too brand new free of charge brand new free of charge and the only thing like this oh I got lipstick on it okay whatever we'll just send it in they'll give us new handles again for free so okay the only thing that they didn't change on this bag are these I don't know how good you can see it you see how it's like cracking these are the only original leather on here which doesn't bother me cuz everything else is new and okay the quotes that they gave me for just the handles and the four little knobs was $750 so imagine if they gave me a CO for this twice time two this time two it would be over a th000 okay so I got all this for 400 and it's pretty much a Brand New Bag okay and then obviously on the inside there's like leather and stuff you see like it's the older leather which which is fine doesn't bother me but I love this because it's perfect for like for my mom to carry like acupuncture needles and like her um sanitizer stuff because um I like getting acupunctured by her she's really good so if she carries this B all her supplies will fit and then it's like a medical bag on the go with me and I get a free um pretty much acupuncturist with me at all times whenever I need it it's here so love it it's called the bowling vanity because I think it fits a bowling bag and it kind of like reminds me like a bowling bag and the inside is um waterproof you can just like wipe it down so it's perfect for like medical supplies and stuff like that so and then the zipper works perfect and you can't even put a lock on this to lock up your medical supplies and we have like multiple Louis Vuitton locks like and also they're like if you want to purchase a lock is Like a Surgeon price I forgot with like two or whatever so all in all I loved their customer service online um it was perfect um and it's way more convenient we save so much time and they're really patient to answer all of your questions if they don't know anything they'll look it up like if you have a very vintage bag cuz I had another one I repaired with them but I sold it already so I can't show it to you guys anymore unfortunately that one was super vintage and they had to look up the model number to find out what it was but um yeah and I don't know if they're going to do the same thing for you to like change out everything because they can see my purchase history I've spent a lot of money with them and it could just be that they're trying to take care of the take take care of their loyal customers cuz I was telling my mom like $400 this was worth over a thousand it's pretty much a Brand New Bag like you should have seen it like when when I first unboxed it like earlier this year like the leather was white it literally looked like from the store except for like this area um yeah like I love their online customer service and same thing with the bag that I sold I went to change it for one or two or something like that and they change all four for free so I'm thinking it's probably because I bought a lot of stuff from their actual stores that's why they're taking care of me but you know you can try it out and also um doing the online thing they don't ask you if you can show proof of purchase they just want to make sure they know the model and everything and they know exactly which area it needs to be repaired and you send it in and that's it um yeah they're not like the store I think the stores only do that so that you don't get it repaired so you can throw it away and buy new one so that they make commission to where as online the those people that you call they're not like their job isn't to sell you new bags their job is to help you repair your old bag um so I think online service 10 out of 10 in store service 1.5 out of 10 okay very disappointed anyways I'm late for work again so I'm going to go see you guys next time
