foreign [Music] so today again what we're going to be talking about is what are the top methods for uh finding medical billing clients and again you're going to get a lot out of that again my name is Eric O'Shea uh you'll find out today that Patrick and I both wore black today it's like we color coded uh coordinated today uh but again I'll be hosting and co-hosting with you uh this afternoon folks one of the biggest things uh that we have here for for you to become a medical billing company is a platform that is generated and operated by next-gen uh folks we have this is our own private uh labeled uh from the next gen Healthcare Company it's called I claim and emrx it is a web-based system which Patrick and I will talk a little bit about today uh Aaron thank you from South Georgia uh so I appreciate you uh having been part of us this afternoon but uh folks what you're going to need in any business is a good solid platform of something whatever you're ended up doing doing in a business opportunity and we've got what we feel like is the top uh out there in the marketplace uh and so if you've got any questions about it get back with the person who invited you and we they will invited you here and they'll do that for you plus all the different Services uh today we're going to talk a little bit about how the services work in your favor of helping you get that first client so we're going to talk about a little bit about that this afternoon uh let me tell you about the the couple that started there that's Patrick and Linda Phillips they are the founders Linda is probably more the founder than anybody because she actually was doing medical billing Patrick found that what she was doing she goes wow you're working from home and this is doing pretty well for us and gosh I think we could teach other people how to do that and that's what that's how American Business Systems actually started a little over 28 years ago and boy in the next few weeks we can say 29 years it's a hard to believe that it's been around that long Patrick is also a prolific writer he writes several articles he takes some time and also writes some books uh one of the first books he ever wrote is how to reprogram yourself for Success then he wrote cash crunch to cash flow and then the new thriving Medical Practice there so uh that is all available through American Business Systems and you can find some of these actually on uh Amazon so if you might want to get a copy of that as you're kind of doing your due diligence here he is also a member of the editorial board for the billing and coding Advantage magazine he is also the co-founder of an organization called murmur which we'll talk again about today which is the medical revenue and Management Association of America and Patrick it's good to see you sir it's good to see you this afternoon you know it took me a long time to find this black shirt that's not what I have so I had to match you up yeah absolutely I was kind of chilled this morning this was the first shirt I grabbed I thought this this will be good for the day yeah this is a long sleeve one too because I yeah I sit here in my office usually kind of chilled my wife she likes it cold and I like it warm so uh we fight with that thermostat all the time oh I'm sure I'm sure you do well Patrick this is a great topic uh I know this gets asked a lot about the to the team um and so you know what are the best methods of getting a client so really we're going to kind of dive in today about what it means to kind of get your first client and you know not a lot of people that you know produce and have a either a franchise or a business opportunity kind of pull back the curtains kind of share share some of the secrets here but uh I think we're kind of doing a little bit of that today aren't we yeah and this first quote by the way is a great one I've heard it before in other contexts but I think tying it in with a doctor here is really neat uh find the pain and solve it right I mean that's what it's about in business so all you have to offer to business people including doctors uh is a solution to their challenges that they face and boy are they facing some challenges right now Eric they are it's just financially they're all just struggling you bet you bet I know we've interviewed several times Dr Vicki rachner and we've had her on here but she's also part of uh some of the other things that we'll talk about today about how um we you know she's she's able to be um actually help some of our brand new folks that are business owners here um but uh she wrote a book called The Myth of the rich doctor why don't you kind of share a little bit about what this book is about and I just pulled a quick quote out of that specifically on you know find the pain and solve it yeah I like that find the pain and solve it she says in this book by the way this this just came out I think sometime last year maybe she says physicians in private practice walk away from an average of 30 percent of their income 30 percent of their income now Eric think about that for a second that means that doctors uh oh I'm supposed to be highlighting them I'm marketing there you go it's uh it's amazing how many doctors don't realize that they actually are walking away leaving on the exam table 30 of their income now if they knew that wouldn't they want to know why is that and what can I do to solve that today right and we our licensees are our business owners we call them licenses because we license our system to them but they are all basically they have the solution to this huge problem that doctors have and we have the way to solve it for the doctors uh because their rejection rates uh are you know in our system as low as two to five percent now Eric I've actually seen the figures that are less than two percent actually overall it depends on the type of doctor of course but can you talk about rejection rates and why uh yeah absolutely let me tell you what a rejection rate is and really what a rejected claim is and obviously a a claim that gets filed to the insurance company whether it's Blue Cross Blue Shield or Medicare or anything else like that yo what happens is is that there's two places and we'll share a little bit more about this and when we take a look at the the program or the platform that we actually have and that is it could get denied at one of the first places is that what's called the Clearinghouse and there's a Clearinghouse that takes all medical claims and then sends them on over to the to the insurance company and what's what's wonderful about our system the I claim system that we have is that we actually own our own Clearinghouse which means that we're processing and clearing claims even throughout the process so that whenever it finally does get to the insurance company the likelihood of that getting it paid is going to be much faster and easier to again as Patrick's put uh highlight in there uh to increase that pay that doctor's cash flow so we don't want to get it locked up at the Clearing House neither do we want to get it rejected at the insurance company we want everything to go through smoothly and so that's one of the the major advantages uh when we get to find the pain uh with the doctor and then we have actually show them how to to solve that pain and the other one Patrick is is just the amount of Physicians that are looking to Outsource their billing uh that's that's you know that's a pretty good percentage of patients that are look I mean doctors that are looking to uh Outsource their billing as well so 42 percent of all the staff out there in doctors offices when we talk to them in a survey we found that 42 hope to Outsource their billing in the next 12 months so Eric there's if people are wondering if there's a market for what we do there's the answer right there 42 is a huge number of any group of people that want to do business with you right yeah absolutely and and folks we didn't just make that statistic that actually came from an organization called uh Black Book uh statistics and and so uh we can certainly point you in that direction but also Patrick we also mentioned in the book that you helped co-write which is the new thriving Medical Practice uh I want you to share a little bit about this again we talked a little bit more about those rejections there yeah I mean this is an extreme example here that they're giving in the book here uh but uh Vicki Dr Vicki and I found this quote that Keith Borglum owner of management and marketing in San Santa Rosa California tells of one Medical Practice that had a 71 error rate in a single year that caused an estimated loss to the practice of a hundred and eighty-five thousand dollars man that's a chunk of change that is a chunk of change that is a big chunk of change and then and then um you know folks what's what's great about this quote here is that this is actually in this book called the new thriving medical practice and we're going to show you that being part of the American Business Systems team then you're going to see how you'll be able to get this book and again we're going to kind of give you a little hint here with your name being the person who wrote the forward getting in the hands of doctors and that they will read this and understand gosh this is I need it I need to have a chat with this person because they're they're I may not be that high of an error rate but I do know I have some so right yeah even if it's uh half that correct 35 that's a huge number of that is a huge number leaving it on the table yeah you bet so now we're going to talk with you about how to find potential clients I know this is one of the areas that you know everybody Patrick has really wanted to know how how do I how do I get to that doctor that's that's the big thing you used to say how do you get past the glass yeah that that seemingly bulletproof glass there in the doctor's office uh that they don't want you uh breathing through uh they use that to keep people from just walking up and talking to them you know at the counter but it's a wonderful way to uh break the ice when you present a book like this as a gift for the doctor that has all these wonderful quotes in there and Eric I'm browsing through the slides here just to see but I don't think we actually uh used a picture of the actual little little uh tabs did we yes it's a slide 40. but we can get to that when we get to that where we actually teach our licensees to Tab and Mark correct things in the book that the uh that they've highlighted we teach them exactly what to highlight and how to Mark those up for doctors by the way the Specialties that are out there people think in terms of especially this is only a very small partial list portion of that yeah you bet but we go into detail in our training of course as to which Specialties are the most profitable what should you go after the first and they're not necessarily the ones you see here we just took this example list here and threw it on the screen to show you that there are a lot of different types of doctors out there that you may not even be aware of you may not know what tribal health is for example um I mean our our Auto laryngology I'm struggling with that I'm just making this up because I don't have any idea either yeah and and so folks we're going to show you how to even pinpoint in your specific area uh your ZIP code area where you live that's the surrounding zip codes uh we're going to give you a few ideas here today of what it's going to take to find a specific doctor maybe a specific specialty that you might be interested in uh it may just be just regular primary care which is which is just fine um but we we know that we have everything from like primary care physicians that we do billing for and before I say we I mean us as a all the the business owners there uh to you know doing uh billing for labs doing billing for durable medical equipment doing doing billing before all these different sorts of different Specialties that are out there so you bet there's a lot of things there that uh a lot of different Specialties uh that are out there so one one of the ways that we're going to show you how to make sure that you get out there is to make sure that you have a professional website Patrick you want to kind of share a little bit about what I'm showing here this is just one of our ones that we have here but being part of ABS they get this as part of their package here yes uh Eric we did some research on this before we had these developed each one of the templates that we created cost us over two thousand dollars these are professionally designed websites not just a few pages I'm talking about these have 30 40 50 pages of information about all of our different Services because we wanted people to have a complete website that they can point a doctor to or an office manager and they can see exactly what they could provide for them and so this is the front page of one of those websites the next slide I think has some other examples but anyway you get to pick from those when you join us you'll be able to pick the one you want uh choose your logo uh and your company name of course all your information would be put on that uh website for contact information yeah yeah absolutely it looks like we got a question in here let's see what is the insurance on our investment if within a year of business we have no deals do we get the funds back actually I'm going to say that that question towards the end because we're going to talk about about this is more about can is there a money back guarantee and we're going to talk a little bit about I'm going to leave that up there Patrick so just leave that up there and we'll we'll answer that towards the end but yes you're going to get all this these different and they're already pre-built there uh for you to be able to like Patrick said just put in your contact information your logo everything's ready to go all the pages are built and uh if we add new Services uh here like you you're going to see some of the services that we have We'll add those to your website without you haven't even have to do that so you're going to have a professional appearance out there because obviously when you start doing your marketing people are going to want to go check out your website and see if you're for real and and kind of read through it the other thing that you're going to get here and and really make sure that helping you get that first client is having in all these different resources now I put Patrick what I did here I I did a snapshot a screenshot of our support site our ABS LSS and I and I highlighted this area right here where it has the business uh or the marketing part of it and you can see folks you we've got ways to business network uh classified ads direct contact Direct Mail educational events follow-ups marketing with books medical marketing overview miscellaneous Marketing sales reps trade show and Expos and warm marketing and we're gonna we're gonna talk about most of these today I thought so what I did I just kind of went back into our licensee support site which is a secured website nobody can just go in there by themselves they have to be a licensee here with abs but I thought this was a great place for us to kind of just work through the whole marketing part of what they get here at abs yeah and Eric uh I actually made this a live link if you want to go to the site so you can kind of browse around there yeah let me see if I can uh I'm gonna pause here so I don't disrupt the thing but go ahead and chat through that and I'll see if I can go ahead and get into that real quickly yeah folks this site has been out there for uh oh gosh I don't know maybe 10 years we've been posting stuff on this site for many many years so there's literally dozens and dozens of Articles blog entries uh videos workshops uh all sorts of training material that are on this site and this particular uh page that you're looking at here like Eric said is under the marketing tab up there so you're seeing I've told people in the past Eric we have about a dozen different ways that we teach people how to get clients well there they are we're not hiding anything from you that's all right there now the secrets behind each one of those of course is what we are uh basically including in our license the reason we have a 29 000 uh franchise fee our license fee is because we've put a lot of time and money and effort into developing so Eric is actually going live now to those different things there Eric why don't we just pick one of those uh yeah that business networking that's fine I I am yeah and folks you can see right here this is the screen little screenshot here that I peeled off right there but uh underneath each one of these uh videos that you get to see uh this is in addition to your training that you're getting you're going to get all the the video bookmarks that you can see right here what what it is and how to get to those pretty quickly uh all the specific downloads of the business networking slides that we're talking about here and then you know you'll see on one of our other slides that we talk about here and this might be a little bit uh small for you to read on your side but you can see here we've got all these different organizations here about how to do online business networking sites whether it's uh with tip or LinkedIn or Meetup or opportunity arise startup Nation upspring you can see all of these different ones here and again getting back just to the marketing you can see here we're going to talk with you a little bit about classified ads what how that works uh how to really get involved with some direct contact and what that means is you know how to how to really get in there and then you know all the different pieces of the puzzle that kind of comes along with that we have everything that you're going to need to help you get to that first client and even Direct Mail as you'll see here in just a little bit we're going to talk uh just shortly about that and uh so there is a ton of information that you have here on the the licensee support site yeah and of course that's available 24 7. once you've joined us as our live one of our licensees you and your staff if you want to give them access to it with a password and everything you can give them access to this too and they have this ability to go in there and learn and train and read and research again around the clock 24 7. you could be up at 3 A.M in the morning if you wanted to it will take you a while to get through all the material that's on this site and of course we're adding new stuff every week to it yeah you bet yeah so let's first of all take a little bit of a dive a little bit bigger dive into this whole thing about business networking and I think Patrick if if we were to pull all of the all of the different pieces together what it takes to get your first client this is probably one of the top ones right here and that's just meeting with other business people who are probably also working with doctors as well yeah and it doesn't even have to be uh in person live there are a lot of meetings that are held in your city believe it or not every day right but you may not have the time or the inclination to go out and do that kind of thing so we work all this into online networking as well as you saw a while ago we mentioned LinkedIn for example that's purely online sure there's no physical meetings you go to with the LinkedIn but man there's a lot of people out there using it you bet and we've learned how to use it and use it properly or you can join up like I said with these different organizations here and uh join a BNI group or go to a meetup group or go to your chamber of commerce uh within your area probably where you live uh are gosh dozens of chamber of commerces and you can join more than just one Chamber of Commerce it doesn't have to be always the one that you live there uh but go join these and you'll be surprised if when you start to talk about what you do you're going to find other people there that are part of the healthcare industry and they're going to know somebody and if not nothing else you're going to start to get to build your network that's that's the whole thing and that's like with any business Patrick uh we could apply these same principles with restaurant people or your roofing company whenever you go to these chamber of commerces or these other companies these people are looking to network with other real business people because they know the secret of business networking that's the important part of it and then once you start getting involved in that you're going to find out wow this is not as difficult as I thought it might be of at least getting in front of my first doctor here yeah and of course we recommend uh various books and courses that are online and other things that you can get involved in to learn more about networking in in and of itself it is a wonderful e-way of reaching out to people in your community who already know the doctors that you're trying to contact right so you go to a Meetup for example and you meet uh maybe it's a chiropractor who's just going there to find if you can find some clients and you meet up with this guy and you tell him what you do all of a sudden you've got an instant connection with there with this human being another human being because you are involved in a business that can solve some of his problems and of course he probably knows other doctors dentists Etc that would be good uh clients so that's where the referrals start coming in you start trading referrals with these people right yeah you bet uh folks remember we've got the question question box open so if you've got any questions about any of this feel free to type in a question and we'll we'll get to it like I said there's one here that I'm going to kind of wait towards the end because it's better set for the end than it is for right now uh one of the other ways folks and you're gonna some of you probably laugh about this but it's pretty good it's brilliant whoever came up with this idea and that's using classified ads and you're probably thinking how in the world do I use a classified ad well guess what doctors do Post in the paper or online on indeed wherever it may be that they may be looking for a guess what a medical biller biller and one great thing brought out is that you already know that these doctors are looking for a medical biller yeah they run these ads in uh everything from Craigslist to uh you know all kinds of stuff online and uh folks It's a Wonderful way to find out here's a doctor that's actually saying we need help yeah the medical biller what a perfect way for you to approach them and say look I am a medical biller but here's the way I do it you Outsource it get it out of your office we get all that out of the office that's not important well it's not it's important but it's not uh not something you should be focused on you and your people uh and that's the collection of the money that's already owed to you and so we're going to show you how we do that uh as a third party outsourced solution and it's been a wonderful way Eric we've had many many licenses that I've interviewed as you know that tell their stories about having used these ads and gotten clients from them there's a close-up of one of those ads they're just looking for receptionist or an office assistant you know that person's going to help with the billing probably if they say something in these ads about needing a medical biller specifically of course that's even bonus right absolutely so so I can already tell some of some of you here they're going to go wow I never even thought about it that way but yeah you go check out again indeed some of these a lot of these online uh where jobs are being posted and go find out if if there's a specific doctor in your area maybe not even in your area that might be looking for a uh a biller to go on staff with them and if you paid attention with some of our other webinars that we've done you already know that we're that we and obviously you as a medical billing company really can show the difference of why it's better to get that out of that doctor's office and the money that that doctor saves if they get the billing out of that office so that's that's one of the great things of what you can learn here the other thing Patrick is warm market now we've talked about business networking which is that whole big area and you can almost call that more of a colder Market but once you talk to us really what is a warm Market Patrick well it's just people you know I mean everybody's heard this before if you've joined some sort of uh thing like uh I don't know multi-level marketing company of some kind they usually tell you start with your warm Market well folks the great thing about what we have is that you're not trying to sell anything to your friends or relatives in fact they're probably not doctors but they all know doctors some of them do no doctors who need help and so by telling them look I'd like to introduce you to the business I've started uh I don't have anything that I can sell to you but you know I want your feedback as to how it comes across to you when I present this because I want to present it to some of your your contacts and so it's people who know and like and trust you yeah yeah and you you put the uh one market idea starter here this is actually one of the documents that we go through in training of uh kind of saying hey what's what to do how to build this and and the the trainer for us and for you would actually step you through this process here to to really kind of start helping you dissect and get ready and then when you go through this training not only are you going to learn how to answer all these different questions but then that person's actually going to have you do some work and get get that ready for the next week uh of your next training for the for uh so you can keep going forward so it's really a great exercise uh and you're going to find out that gosh I'm going to find out a lot about my warm Market people yeah they're just suggestions of course but they do have a lot of good things on there that I'll bet when you read them you'll go oh I never thought about those people yeah yeah absolutely well another thing once you've gotten let's say that you've gone through an a networking meeting like like we said with a chamber of commerce or anything else like that or you've you've uh done some warm marketing and you've got a potential doctor one of the things you can start off with is just what we call lunch and learns and and this is another thing that we're going to teach you and train you and already have material ready for you to present uh during these lunch and learns and I promise you every office likes to eat and matter of fact you can probably go to any doctor's office today and get on their lunch schedule so because they're always looking for uh new ways of doing business Patrick you want to add any more oh you're muted there there we go it could be Pizza it could be uh it doesn't have to be anything expensive or elaborate all they want to do is be able to eat while we're eating lunch of course you're training them you're teaching them you're educating them and that's what they appreciate about the fact that you've tied in something we all need which is lunch food snacks with whatever it is that you think you have that might could help them and it's a wonderful way to present things you don't even need a laptop or anything you could literally print this out on uh pieces of paper on a flip chart of some kind and show it to them but we have all that designed of course for laptops Powerpoints and Etc as well but at least we're going to get you the questions to start asking because what you're going to want to lead up to which I think if we've got time today you're going to see that we want to get you to What's called the practice analysis so one of these people that you have lunch there with just you might want to even start asking some of these questions questions because you're going to start to get to know those questions anyway and so these these questions become more like second nature to you while you're sitting down with that office manager or somebody there at that that doctor's office and so just simply say you know typically in a month's time how many patients are y'all seeing in a month you know if you do you have any idea how many claims get rejected in a month do you get any of those that get actually reworked how many of those do you think get actually reworked so while you're serving that pizza and or whatever else that you're going along you can start tying in some of the things that you're learning in that that our training course to again help you get that first client now Patrick mentioned also about educational events now this is a little bit more formal uh a type of education and this is where you're really making a presentation to a maybe a group of doctors and I know that uh Patrick um you know you and I have I've been able to do some educational events like this at Medical societies how about that yeah it's amazing people don't realize what what's out there in your community they call them a medical society is just a group of doctors in your city who got together and said look why don't we start this little club or Society or organization that's just consists of doctors now the great thing is that they let people join those as vendors supporting vendors in other words you're a company who wants to support the doctors in your area and so you host one of these and that means you provide some food you provide the educational uh training that you might give during that day and they love this Eric this is just something doctors eat up because they're that's what they constantly do is just learn new stuff yeah absolutely yeah so uh find your local medical society wherever you live uh whatever Metroplex area that you live in there may be three four five there may be some Specialties uh out there and now is a great time this is a wonderful time to get on their calendar because they are trying to book for next year and so now is a great time for you to start doing some of this due diligence especially if you're going to join us here uh of learning what's out there and where you can make some presentations and another place that you can make a presentation I'll even say this and throw this in there is again a Chamber of Commerce so where were you reside they too are always looking for people to present certain things and you it's it's pretty impressive that you can be able to do that yeah they're always looking for speakers always looking for this material yeah yeah absolutely and by the way we're just touching on each one of these methods here as you can see very very gently very lightly because when we give you the actual training you're going to be doing this one-on-one with a live instructor right across the internet using zoom and you'll be talking to that one instructor you and that instructor that's it well unless you have a spouse or a partner that's on there as well and you'll be able to ask all the questions you want we give you all the questions to ask them we have a whole what five pages now I think Eric of uh our uh survey that you can do with a doctor's office to find out what it is that what what struggles are they having right now and what can you do to solve them you bet yeah well one of the other techniques that you're going to learn like Patrick said in that training is how to do what's called direct marketing this is when you're actually again getting out in the neighborhood you're finding out where some of your doctors are located and uh what you're going to do is really find these specific areas and go chat with these doctors and one of the things you're going to want to just absolutely do you never know that if you're standing there and you're they you're explaining to yourself that that doctor just doesn't walk up and go um I've been wanting to talk to somebody about this anyway so uh direct direct marketing is very very good yeah you might you might read that as I did when I first saw this live I thought it said Direct Mail marketing because we're all used to direct mail well we have some Direct Mail methods that you could use this is speaking about directly contacting that is going out and really walking in getting their business card introducing yourself leaving some literature and making some kind of contact with real human beings in these offices and Eric we have something of course that is a real solution to a problem that doctors really do have so they take the time sometimes just to stand there and talk with us about those things yeah you bet we're going to show you how to get past the gatekeeper how to use Gifts of books for example to reach the doctor and get past them uh it's all about credibility isn't it Eric I mean we're talking next about medical sales reps uh but hey there's nothing more credible than having a good knowledgeable sales rep who's maybe sold pharmaceutical in the past or or some other uh medical supplies and equipment and you have found these through the methods we teach you how to hire these people they work on a straight commission basis only we show you how to find them hire them train them pay them it's it's a wonderful program if people don't want to do any marketing themselves uh job and said these are these suggestions recommendations are great ideas for marketing networking I'm new to medical billing so is the suggestions to begin with these strategies during the training or after completion of the training session actually joking what's going to happen is is that your your instructor here is going to show you how to practice these while you're going through your training right which is very good because we used to have training here in the Dallas Fort Worth area you'd fly everybody in here you get all this information and then in five days and then we'd send you on and you know Pat you on your head and say good you know let's let's go out there and we're here and we've helped a lot of people that way but the way that we have training now um is work work a section and go do a section work a section and do go do something so it's building upon each one of these so one of the marketing things that you might want to be looking at is is getting to know who might be some medical sales reps right there or people that are actually in the healthcare industry I might tell you that people are always doing what's called after hour business after hours somewhere uh whether it's at a restaurant maybe they're having a happy hour somewhere all these different people again are coming together and uh it's awesome whenever you can get a hold of someone that's basically in medical cells or something like that that you're able to connect with and they may have the opportunity to kind of do a little side gig and you can give them a little commission if you help if they ever ever help you to eat you know just even getting setting up and having that direct contact with that doctor uh you know they if you've got this guy here in this blue shirt has been talking with this doctor and this nurse here for quite some time and they know them they may say hey I met Patrick or Eric over here who's done medical billing then you know and then they go gosh gosh I know you you're gonna pass me on to the right people yeah let's have them come by too so that's what's good about what we're talking about today yeah by the way if these medical sales reps are everywhere Eric uh I went to a medical convention the other day it was just a convention for I don't know companies that are offering things for doctors and so forth and you know for five dollars I got in the gate uh bought a ticket walked around and I'm telling you it was just full of some of the finest sales reps you could ever want you meet them as you walk up to the booth you see their personality you see uh their smile you see how they uh talk with people they're wonderful leads for the sales reps that we're looking for and like you said they some of them just do it on a side gig anyway they're not they're not switching jobs they just want to be able to refer somebody to you and make a few hundred dollars yes absolutely and talk about if you get that referral from a medical sales rep or anything else like that you talk about instant credibility and that's really what you're getting with with with your warm Market with sales reps that you may have come in contact with with the networking that you may have been able to do and someone hands that over to you plus the instant these at our printing cost if you run low absolutely you talk about instant credibility whenever you are again partnered as you'll see here in just a moment with Dr Vicki rachner we're going to show you how that actually happens but we've got these these books here that we're going to kind of flip through all the slides here really how all this works with you and for you but recently uh Adam who is the CEO now and Dr record just put out a book called nine ways doctors let money slip through their fingers and then on top of that Patrick you've got this wonderful way of putting a sticker up there because you've got compliments of and then it's going to be the business owner's name and address and everything else on there right so this personalizes this and gives you that much more credibility folks because again you're partnering with a doctor here in this case and my son who is the CEO of our company and to have these two people present a book that the licensee that you can put your name and contact information right on the cover that's unheard of Eric it's it's an ingenious idea I wish I knew who thought of this idea because they deserve a big raise they do don't they they are they are they need a big raise and then uh another part of instant credibility is Dr ragner doing an introduction letter that this is brilliant here as well yeah because uh of course Dr Vicki doesn't have the time to take a phone call from every doctor that you're talking to in your area and every other license he is talking to so we came up with the idea why don't we just put on her letterhead with her address at the bottom you can't see it there but it's down at the bottom this is her letterhead folks and she's introducing you and your company by name in this personalized letter you did it it just doesn't get any better than this Erica instant credibility that's the stability yeah absolutely and then and then to go right along with that is again the the new thriving Medical Practice here uh and how this really works Patrick you want to also let's talk about really about the importance of this particular book because we actually print this a little differently than any other book yeah this one actually has your name right on the front cover now the drawback to that is that you need to write an introduction uh to the to the book uh far wouldn't call it uh the that's facing here in our own office so it does all the selling for you in what uh something like 10 tabs there you bet and you know Patrick we we heard this story during the pandemic whenever now everything's pretty much open you can go visit doctors again and go to these networking meetings and go to the Chamber of commerces and do all this but you know for a while there it was difficult for any of our business owners to get in front of a doctor and we found out and heard that a lot of our business owners were just getting books into these doctors hand it would actually just mail them yeah but they were they were tabbed up like this and highlighted and um that's that's what's incredible here is that it these work and for everybody that's on here that's a little afraid of selling you know if you've got your name on the front part of that cover that book and you're sending it out and it's written directly to the doctor and there's an introductory letter there from Dr rackner that's that's carrying a lot of credibility and that's what you need and we've seen people that have gotten their first doctor within the first 30 40 60 days uh or it could be the first three to four months after they they join us uh by utilizing these techniques oh go ahead sorry I was just going to say that we basically teach you exactly what to mark up in the books how to get them in the mail how to get them in the hands of the doctors past the gatekeeper so if you're wondering we teach exactly how to do that and and kind of going back to this one up over here where it says forward by Susan Smith which would be your name we would replace your name there CMI cmrm then you've got National credibility through Burma because people are going to go wow what is cmrm well this is the organization that certifies you as a certified Medical Revenue manager so this can also be directing back online um that are going to help you uh be able to let the doctor knows that you do have a national credibility now yeah go out there to merma.org it's not.com now it's dot org o r g merma m r m a a Medical Revenue Management Association of America and uh just go check that website out and look at the uh the board of directors for example you'll see we have some pretty uh pretty high up uh CEOs and presidents of companies that have joined with us to uh help certify you as a Medical Revenue manager you bet and then Patrick mentioned earlier that we have uh you know we had Direct marketing and but this is proven direct mailers I mean where these aren't emails that are going out these are real postcards that are going out there Patrick you want to share a little bit of how this works as well yeah we we've already created several campaigns which is a series of cards that would go out one a month for example for six months nine months or whatever there's one that you're looking at there on the screen we designed all those cards for you you can edit those any way you want to by the way you can change anything about them there's the inside for example the editor part of our system so this is an online system where you can create the cards push a button and Eric the cards just automatically go out if you put a doctor on one of these campaigns they will get that card automatically once a month and your cost is only a couple of dollars for that yeah it's a very very inexpensive way of marketing yeah let let the automation do its work and keeping your name in front of that doctor especially if you've done everything else that we've LED you up to this point because you've seen so far we're taking you down that entire long list on the remember that ABS LSA us that long list of marketing things that are there we're just like I said we're just touching on those and but we're going to show you how to your your trainer here we'll show you I put all of these in practice and kind of lead you through this and and on top of all of that and Patrick we've got a just under nine minutes now left we've got we got we've got a lot of information we've got to kind of wrap up here in the next five minutes here but uh we have a solid platform and the reason we talk about that is because again back to the new thriving Medical Practice you and Dr brackner talk about the importance of having a cloud-based system right and and not many people have a true cloud-based system meaning every aspect of it is tied into the cloud starting with the uh the Clearinghouse uh the submission of the claims of course the scrubbing of the claims uh you've got a patient portal basis so that you have ongoing training I'll be doing that training on Friday along with some of our support people here in the office and uh it's really good in-depth training you got it and then we've got all the proven solutions that the doctor's going to need and and that's what's a beautiful thing here we've got everything covered from the billing aspect of it the electronic medical records but then if you haven't been on some of our other webinars and we've kind of touched on these other ones here specifically those that are concerned about coding we've got you covered there we've got proven solutions for coding uh for auditing those codes called audit guard so and then for those that want to even lead in let's say that you're making one of those Direct contacts like we talked about earlier walk into that doctor's office and just simply say hey I'm Eric and I'm with the whatever company that you're part of and I'm here to talk with your compliancy officer here at the office Patrick you talk about get people's attention yeah because yeah because now you're dealing with a HIPAA issue and they don't know if they're in trouble or not and that will pull out the office manager for sure yeah and this is a service that you can offer to them that helps them stay compliant with HIPAA uh and make sure that they don't get those huge fines that comes up with Medicare can find a doctor up to ten thousand dollars for every non-compliancy that they run across in their office if they if they don't and that all leads up to what we mentioned earlier is this practice analysis questionnaire you can do that once you're in front of that that office manager let's say that you're going through some questions with them about HIPAA compliancy but you start this and you start pulling these numbers as we are showing you here and that's that we just it's basically just kind of plug and play but what if at the end of that visit you were able to give this to the doctor going hey this is what you look like currently up here this is what we know that we can do and this is how it can projectedly impact your business Patrick that's a in a ten thousand dollar increase per month yes that's right that's nothing to sneeze at when a doctor sees this report that you produce from his own figures yes what his office manager gave you as far as the figures are concerned this is not something they can argue with because this is their figures right and so when this says that they could make another 122 thousand dollars a year I'm sure in most doctors minds they're
