so you want to get paid well unfortunately customers sometimes need a little reminder or two in this video we'll show you how to save a ton of time and get paid without having to spend your weekends and nights making collection calls from the dashboard go to the communications manager and then go to the email manager assuming you've already customized your emails scroll down to the bottom of the page this is where you'll find your payment reminders reliab bills comes pre-loaded with five templates now I'm currently in a free account so you can see that my templates are all inactive but that's okay we can still make and save edits create templates and timelines that way if we decide to upgrade to plus everything will be ready to go each template can be previewed you can even send yourself a test email and making edits to a template is simple just click on the body of the email and use a text editor to make any changes you need and if you'd like to create a completely new template that's just as easy if you think you've got the templates written and worded the way you want it's time to start organizing the Mona timeline start by selecting one of the templates I'm going to start with the pre-bill courtesy reminder this reminder is worded to let my customers know that an invoice will soon be due just click to add it to the timeline and in this case I'm going to position this about 3 or 4 days before the invoice is due next I want to let my customers know when their payment is pass due so I'm going to add the payment reminder and I'm going to position this one week after the due date and you know I think I'll add another of the exact same one and this one I'll put it 14 days now I've worded the important reminder with just a little bit more well firm message so let's add that but we'll add that one at 30 days and again at 45 days now the Urgent reminder well let's just say it's got a little bit more bite to it so I'm going to add that one at 60 days and remember you can word these emails any way you like now some customers just simply don't respond well to email so I'm going to add a postal reminder that's right reliabil will print fold insert and mail your paper invoices as well I'm going to put this one at 30 days and and then rearrange my schedule a little bit now one thing we didn't talk about were late fees reliab bills allows you to automate the calculation and addition of late fees you can even schedule an automatic email reminder to let your customers know that if they don't pay up fees will be added for more information on late fees feel free to watch our quick video to find out how to make late fees work for you that's it we're done at any time feel free to come back edit copy move templates around do what you need to do to get paid thanks for watching this video [Music] [Applause]
