hello everyone thank you so much for tuning in to our Channel today today's video request is entitled how to make receipt in canva so let's learn how to do just that okay so depending on what kind of receipt you're trying to make or what specific dimensions you'd like it to be then you can click on custom size and input your desired Dimensions here as well as your desired unit and then click on create new design it'll take you to the editing page for you to get started right away but if you want to look for some templates first then and if you're not really specific when it comes to the dimensions of your receipt or if you could um yeah just use a template and then resize your receipt later on you can go to the search bar and type in receipt over here to view some options then click on see all we'll be taken to the templates page and here we are choose any receipt templates that you would like to use foreign so we're going to try to go for this one I think I think it's quite simple and perhaps easier to edit so we're gonna click on customize this template it'll take a couple of seconds for the editing page to load up let's wait for it and so here we are in case you want to change your template you can go to the side panel over here type in receipt on the search bar and there you go more um more templates more receipt templates so maybe we could change this to this one yeah perhaps we'll stick with this one for now okay and you can actually edit your receipt however you want to and yeah in case you want to change the size of your template then you can go to the resize button over here you can input your specific width and height and unit okay just like that so once you input information here these buttons below will become clickable now you have two options you can either copy and resize so save the original and create a new design for the resized version or you can automatically resize without saving a copy of the original template or design so yeah but this is unfortunately only available for canva pro users or for those with a canva subscription if you don't have a canvas subscription and you'd like to resize a certain template there's still a way for you to do it you can either sign up for a free trial version of canva but if you don't want to do that that's totally fine you can just go to the home page again you can click on custom size input your specific dimensions here create new design and wait for your new design to load up and for the meantime you're going to go to this template highlight everything and control plus C on your keyboard to copy go to your new design oh yeah and paste it there Control Plus V and there you go so yeah that's how you resize for free in canva you're gonna need we're not going to need the resized version we're going to just work with this one for now okay let's get started so you can change your information here okay for example this should be zero zero let's see one two three four dash zero one okay and do let's say for example 15th of June 2023. you can put invoice here or whatever you want to input here you can even input your logo if you want to you can change the information here and in case you want to change the look of your receipt then you can also go ahead and do that you can change your font if you want to by clicking your text and by going to the font button right over here choose whatever font you want to use you can also see other tools on the toolbar above if you click on your text you can resize using this button but you can also just drag it like that you can change your font's color over here you can turn your font to bold and yeah I think these settings will depend on the kind of font you're using that you have bold italics and underline you also have all uppercase and so much more and if you want to replace these elements you can also do that you can go to elements over here on the sidebar and you can look for whatever elements you want to replace these with go to Graphics if you're looking for graphic elements and go to photos if you're looking for photo elements foreign these Graphics are really nice but I guess I'm gonna have to stick with this design it's minimalist and easier on the eyes we don't really have to go all out since this is only a receipt and what I'd like to do I just would like to turn this into a horizontal bar and put it below just like that I'd like to do the same thing so I'm just gonna I'll put that there first in case I need it later on I'm going to duplicate this one and put it over here or maybe we could do it like that send it to back position and change its color to something like this I'm going to delete this line instead and yeah do it like that yeah I think I like it better this way perhaps we can change the color as well of this one and yeah and basically you just keep on editing your invoice or your receipt until you're happy with it okay and once you're done go to the share button above click on download select your file type over here and if you're a pro user Make sure to check and tweak these download settings over here ing to your preferences and once you're done click on download
