how to manage your receipts for business and for pleasure are you one of these people they end up with a big fat wallet not full of money but full of receipts I used to have to manually take my receipts once every month now lie once every three months and sit there and put them on an excel spreadsheet to take you forever so about six years ago thanks to my accountant I started using zero which is in my view the best accounting software on the planet but I still have this issue with receipts until somebody recommended to me receipt bank its brilliance all you have to do is you take out your receipt and you take a photo from with inside receipt bank and it will not only keep a copy of the receipt but it would automatically recognize the person that you bought the thing from the amount the VA t and also classified into the right category and then what I'll do it will automatically post that entry straight into zero which means I'm happy my accounts person is happy and we all save time and money I recommend two apps the first one is receipt bank for business and the second one is expenditure for personal both brilliant apps and it will save you a lot of time so i use expenditure for my personal stuff so what you do is you scan all the things that are not paid with your business credit or debit card and then at the end of the month all you need to do is go into the report section and click on Excel report or PDF and immediately they'll send you a list of all your expenditures in the right categories which you can then use to go ah how much did I spend on wine this month
