this excel template allows for the easy  organization and visualization of your company's   shipment information shipping and receiving logs  contain automatic fields to aid in data entry   and the workbook is fully customizable with your  own unique products and customers shipment data is   presented visually in the templates dashboard  which summarizes multiple shipment statistics   in order to begin using the  shipping and receiving template   select the shipping log tab located at the  bottom of the workbook this sheet is where   you enter shipment information throughout the  workbook gray columns will be automatically   filled once a corresponding selection is made so  only white columns should be used for data entry   on this table gray columns populate to the  address corresponding to the selected customer   as well as the item name corresponding to the  selected item number to make full use of the   template's dashboard features be sure to enter the  date customer item number quantity and shipping   status for each entry in the table to change  the options available for the items customers   and shipping status drop-down menus select the  lists tab located at the bottom of the workbook   this sheet is where you can personalize the  template with your own business information   each of the tables on this sheet control  the items available for selection in their   corresponding drop-down menus in addition to  controlling the workbook's drop-down menus tables   with multiple fields will also determine the  information associated with each drop down option   for example when a customer's name is selected  the customer's corresponding address will be   automatically pulled into the appropriate field  if you'd like to edit any of the tables on this   sheet you can either replace an existing entry or  add a new entry in the next available blank row   in order to keep track of the shipments received  select the receiving log tab located at the bottom   of the workbook this sheet is used to track  your business's incoming shipments and orders   just like the shipping log sheet white  fields are used for data entry and   gray fields are automatically populated  with the corresponding item information   the data entered on this table isn't  used to generate the workbook's dashboard   so this table is an optional feature to aid in  shipping organization and management to display   an overview of the shipping log information select  the dashboard tab located at the bottom of the   workbook this sheet provides a visualization of  data recorded in the shipping log table shipment   information is summarized by items shipped  shipping status and shipment month any changes   made to the shipping log will be automatically  reflected on the dashboard and the monthly graphs   will be automatically updated to the appropriate  calendar year this concludes the demonstration of   the shipping and receiving template if you'd like  to review any of these instructions a summary can   be found on the introduction tab located  in the bottom left corner of the workbook
