how to send invoices on Shopify my name is C and in today's tutorial I'm going to show you everything needed to successfully send invoices to your customers now when sending invoices basically we are going to differentiate between two different types of invoices so first off let me quickly open up the settings right here under the notification settings right here under notifications when we're going to open up customer notifications basically let's look for invoice uh by default Shopify already sends out an invoice for all of your different orders so as you can see right here on the order exceptions basically order invoice right here this is going to be the default invoice for all of your different Shopify orders um now you can edit the Cod right here to actually just customize this you can change the email subject and so on now if you do want to actually change this you can do so right here however let me now actually show you how to actually send out invoices for custom orders so to do this you will have to opt out of this and then you will have to click on orders under orders you will have to click on drafts and then click on create order on the top right now this will then allow you to actually select the kind of product that you're going to sell in that order so in my case I'm just going to click on ADD I'm going to I don't know add this oversiz zipper in the size small and then I'm just going to add this onto this order now right here then you can also change the quantity I'm just going to say this is going to be two and then as for the payment make sure that everything is correct right here you can also select that the payment is Du later and then right here you are going to have the option to send out an invoice so just click on this and then this is basically right here you will then have to select where to send an invoice to so in this case I will actually just use a temp for this I'm just going to paste in the email right here we will then have to add the subject and we can also then add a custom message right here then click on review invoice you're going to see once again a preview click on send invoice and now this is actually going to be sent out to the email right here that you have put in alternatively you can actually also just select a customer right here from one of the previous orders or you can just create a new customer right here so in this case as you can see right here we're then going to get the invoice and then the person that is going to receive this invoice will have to actually complete this purchase we all know that starting a successful Shopify store can be super hard that's why I'm right now giving out my Shopify course for completely free now you're going to learn everything needed to actually streamline your Shopify success in that exact course so make sure to click on the link down below to get started
