Typically, you should receive a preliminary statement within seven to 14 business days after discharge. This statement is going to show an estimated patience balance and an estimated insurance payment. Please do not payoff this preliminary statement. You will want to wait until your insurance processes the claim. Once the claim has been processed by the insurance company we will send you a statement showing what your balance due is. That's the process for those patients who have insurance coverage. If you are an uninsured patient, Brigham City Community Hospital does have a discount for your services with us. The bill that you will receive seven to 10 business days after discharge is what your balance due is. After your insurance has processed your claim you will receive a second bill from Brigham City Community Hospital. This is going to show your balance due. At that time you can pay in full or if you need to make payment arrangements you will need to come and talk to one of the financial counselors at Brigham City Community Hospital. We want to make paying your bill easy and convenient. There are a few options. You can pay online, you can mail your payment in, you can call and make payments over the phone or you can even come into the hospital and make a payment. Other than your bill from Brigham City Community Hospital you may receive bills from other providers that have had contact with your care.
