if you're a wholesaler distributor or e-commerce seller and you use stripe to collect payments good news for you you can now integrate your stripe account with inventory my name is Garrett Howard I am one of the co-founders of inventory I have a ton of experience as an e-commerce seller done over 20 million dollar online I'm a former owner and CEO of distribution brothers and we sold distribution Brothers in 2022 to start inventory I use stripe in my own business today and I would highly recommend it for anybody who's not already using it it's an awesome pay processor and it's very secure so I would highly recommend using stripe if you're not using it already let's talk about how stripe Works within inventory first thing that you're going to do is just connect your stripe account then when it comes to actually creating orders you can just select stripe under the payment method and then when you click create and send what that's going to do is it's going to send an email of that invoice to the customer where they can actually view the invoice click on that pay it right there and then it will be marked as paid within inventory so you can get paid and then just go ahead and fulfill the order as you can see I already have my stripe connected right here my stripe account connected in inventory all we have to do is go under Integrations and under payments you'll see stripe once again I already have it connected but in order to get it connected you can just click on the information icon right here and we can see the steps necessary in order to do that first thing that we're going to do is go through this account setup I didn't want to show you in this video because it does have a lot of sensitive information but this will walk you right through how to do everything right here and it's super simple and easy so let me show you the rest now that this is connected what I'm going to do is I am going to go create an order now since we have stripe connected let's get paid via stripe so let's go to create order and I will create an order for myself so I can show you what this looks like let me just select my product here I'll enter quantity of one let's just do a dollar for this order and then so here we go when we select our payment method what we have to do is Select Stripe Right here and then we will click create and send if we click create invoice that's not going to send an email of this of course we want to send an email because we want to get paid right now so I'm going to click create and send and then it's going to send an email of the invoice here I am in my email and I have just receive this invoice from inventory it is for $1 as you can see before so I'm just going to click view invoice so here we have this great looking invoice right here that I just received obviously this is what the customer is going to be seeing when they receive the email so really nice this is just what our invoice templates look like very nice and professional and what I can do here is I can just click pay invoice and I can click pay with stripe it's going to prompt me to enter in my credit card information so I'm going to do that and then I'm going to click pet and this is what I will receive as a confirmation once I actually have it paid obviously as you can see I could download the invoice right here or I can just view the invoice but I have my balance due of zero dollar because I just paid that dollar for the invoice so now that I as the customer have paid for this invoice it should be marked as paid so let me just go ahead and refresh this page and that order should be marked as paid that is number 78 and as you can see it is right here immediately it is now ready ready to ship because it has of course been paid so that's how simple and easy it is to get paid with stripe in inventory if you use stripe and you need an inventory management system to integrate with check out inventory.com today for your all-in-one e-commerce solution this is going to be awesome for any of you using stripe if you're not using stripe already to collect payment I would highly suggest you do and sign up for inventory today so we can get all of your inventory management needs taken care of and we can get you started collecting payments today
