you will never ever ever ever in your life again have a shortage of customers let me tell you what I'm going to go over number one I'm gonna go over the in-store service customer I'm gonna show you how to take that guy and convert him or her and sell them a car how easy I got the script right here okay so I'm gonna give it to you number two and buy what when I say script this little piece of paper right here this is just an outline for you to understand where it is that you're going this will keep you in line number two I'm going to talk about the guy that just got his car serviced and basically he already left you didn't see him he wasn't a customer that you were aware of that was even in the dealership he was in and then he was out so every morning you go in one if you have access to your CRM or your internet manager or maybe your used-car manager they can give you a list of all the customers that got their car serviced today before or you could go to the service station and get this I don't know how it works in your store get with your manager figure that out say I want to get a list of the customers that actually service their car yesterday in service I'd like to call them and try to convert them to buy a car I'm going to tell you this I'm going to show you number one how to call that guy and then two we're gonna send him a video if he doesn't answer I've already made the video by the way I train a store that pulls 50 customers a month out of the service station buy one gentleman this one man I have trained him from the ground up so what he does is he only works the service drive now look at me when you're thinking about like men these service customers these guys aren't even looking to buy a car look who wants to raise their gross who wants to make more money do you know you guys have customers everyday that have already done their research right there in the market for a car they've looked at all the pricing around you online they've checked out your competitors let me ask you this if you were able to convert a service customer would there be any shopping that had been done no so you actually had the opportunity to go back and work a car deal like it was worked back in 2000 and in 2005 before the internet was out you are the horse's mouth you are the one that can actually help them and you can sell them a car right then if you do it right okay so check this out if you want a copy of this script right here it's real simple shoot me a text nine one eight two one o zero two five four say shoot me the service text look boom snap a little picture of it I'm gonna send this to you I just want you to see it so you can follow it okay now look I'm gonna kind of read some of this off to you so you kind of know what it says but the outline of this whole deal is so that you can understand that you're elevating your game to a whole new level your day goes like this I'm outside looking for a customer I'm trying to get an internet lead maybe you're posting some cars online now you're gonna add service customers to your list how many people come into your dealership each day to service a car do tons so guess what now you can start fishing out of that department to which ninety-nine percent of you just disregard it and you're looking for the next up every time you see a service customer now you're gonna say secret gold mine we'll all of them convert no they don't have to only one has to convert to pay you really well so I'm going to show you kind of how to probe in there and see if it's something that you can do and also by the way you'll get to know people and it's called the compound effect even if you don't tell somebody now when you do this next time they come into service they'll know who you are and if they know who you are the compound effect is the guy that you don't even sell now because you're talking to you may sell in six months from now but I will show you how to sell them right now so number one we're going to talk about converting a service late I put always introduce yourself as the vehicle exchange coordinator so it's like this if you have you ever had a t hunter deal to manager manager comes and says hey how you doing on the manager just want to say hi my name is Andy he introduces himself as a manager the customer sees them as like a level of authority never introduce yourself when we're converting a service customer as a salesman don't do it do you think if you're in service servicing your car do you think that you want to salesmen to come approach you and talk to you look if I say I'm a Salesman and I go through this look can you be a Salesman yes but changed the name they know you sell ok you're the vehicle exchange coordinator it's really simple say it vehicle exchange coordinator how you doing guys I'm Andy I'm actually the vehicle exchange coordinator what I do every day is and then I go over it that's how I introduce myself let's go the other way hey how you doing my name's Andy I'm actually one of the salesmen here you're done listen to me the mind it's made to protect so when it feels something threatening it pushes you away vehicle exchange coordinator now that's got to say let him in salesman and you know I'm saying I'm just giving you guys some tips when you introduce yourself from now on you're the vehicle exchange coordinator you're the vehicle exchange manager I don't care what you're what is vehicle mean it means car what does exchange mean it means to replace or exchange to replace out to swap dude that's what we do as salesmen we're just changing the word to it ok vehicle exchange coordinator my job is to coordinate all the exchanging going on with the service customers that we have for maybe different vehicles I'm actually the one that handles that oh man this is gonna get really good ok so let's talk about the in store service customer the guy that is maybe sitting in your Lobby maybe walking around getting a cup of coffee listen when you go out me too fresh up right somebody that pulls them a lot that was so buy some you walk out say hey help I hope you have a wonderful day my name is Andy how can I help you or you know are you here to see someone you guys have your little introduction right well this is the same thing guys over getting a cup of coffee he's waiting on his card service you don't know what he's there for he'll could be an engine it could be an oil change you just walk up say hey how you doing my name is Andy how's your day they say hey my name is Yuri my name is great cool got your card service yeah awesome man actually working on one of the vehicle exchange coordinators and this thing oh wow what's that they're always gonna ask and you so actually what I do is actually help 99 percent of our customers give free appraisals on their vehicle that's what I do all day long so if they're really busy up front I'll go out there and I'll help them sell a car but most of the time I'm back here giving free appraisals on on vehicles that's what I do now if you'll notice here my job is to give free appraisals to our service customers daily would you mind if I give you a free appraisal while you're waiting I would ask you questions if you were waiting in a service department and your weight under oil change and it got hooked up soon hey how you doing I'm max of the vehicle exchange coordinator I wouldn't come back and say hi number one but number two while you're waiting it looks like I don't know if it's an oil change is probably what a thirty minute job I'm not the service guy but would you mind if I give you a free appraisal on your car it doesn't take anything from you I actually just come back to you and I serve you with the certificate on if you would be interested in ever selling it or trading it what your car would be worth would you mind if I got you a free appraisal they'll only say yes who doesn't want to know what their cars worth now what I'm telling you is the free appraisal word am I asking you to go out there and honestly give them a free appraisal no that's not necessarily what you have to do what you're doing is you're opening the door for you to talk about if the appraisal was right if there was a right amount of money it was worth maybe maybe there could be some type of exchange and what are you looking for you're looking for your next sell it's sitting right there if a guy says no no no we don't run an appraisal we're good we're good cool man rock and roll hey hope you have a great day drink ten cups of coffee I'll see okay have a blessed day I'll talk to you soon hey if that guy's cold and he's not open to it roll but most people will be like oh yeah you know we'll take a free appraisal while we're here awesome cool now what's the next step when the customer says yeah great let me get your vehicle appraised and I'll get back with you shortly but do you walk away no you stay and strike a conversation quick question now how long have you had it I've had it this long awesome is there anything majorly that you know that needs to be done to it right now when I'm getting the appraisal part of it my GM loves to give top dollar for vehicles I've been serviced the best would you mind sharing with me some of the things that have you done have you always serviced it here right was that the car you originally wanted to buy when you bought it or would you bought something differently knowing what you know today guys you got to use your words influencing and persuading is the market we live in and guess what these customers will convert to you I put down some ideas here with explains that they've explained what the vehicle exchange manager means you help nice service customers like them to exchange to a newer or new vehicle with great benefits in most cases a lot of your customers give things like this no service bill do so if you have a $2,500 service bill you may not end up paying that driving out of here today with the brand-new car okay top dollar for your car a great opportunity to replace it with the new need in life I don't know maybe you had two kids when you owned that one and now you got four I don't know maybe you bought it and you set up off the ground because you lived in a different state and had bad weather and now you live here and we don't have bad weather hey maybe it's got a lot of miles maybe it wasn't your favorite color maybe he didn't really didn't want a four-door but you're building your credit you like a two-door today I don't know but if I talk to you you'll tell me what the new need is or the new one okay now no payments for three months I love that hey coming through the holidays check this out and I always put over here give an example of a story how someone like them actually got help by you say you know what this reminds me of now look you're too low to Corolla it's got you know one hundred thirteen thousand miles seems like a great car Toyota's her great cars have run forever I had a lady that I treat this is so funny because you have a Corolla she had a Corolla she traded her car in and she had a hundred thirteen thousand wells her payments was 258 a month on it she bought a 13,000 mile Corolla beautiful little blue on with the spoiler on it but she just loved her payment actually went down two dollars in their crazy now if you could get something into simular kind of what you have now and there was a way to get into something and actually lower your payment or keep it about the same is that something that you'd entertain because I don't know if your car still under warranty or if it's out of warranty I don't know when you pull into the service station if that means you just pay pay pay or if it's free because it's all warranty Search Search Search let me explain this to you okay when I talk the reason why I'm talking is I'm trying to probe and find an angle in a way in I want to say stuff to do what create a reaction that's what I want so why did I tell that story because I want the lady to say oh you know what I'm not interested in that okay cool that's a reaction or so she bought a newer car with a you know would seek 13,000 while she lowered her miles a hundred thousand miles and she had the same payment yes that's what I do of the vehicle exchange coordinator abracadabra man that's what we did you I got you so I was telling you there's only one of me here there's only one vehicle exchange coordinator in the store it's me right here guys this is an untapped area that I guarantee in your store no one else is doing no one why because everybody wants to low-hanging fruit and they think that that's the next up coming in that that next up which I want to take it they most likely done research they've been all over the web they found you your car already they they're familiar with the shopping process they maybe already worked a deal they might have worked ten deals this might be their first place and they plan to go to ten more or is the low-hanging fruit right here in the service station and all you have to do is get uncomfortable decide to look at things with the different set of lenses on have some perspective and walk over and say hey how you doing I'm actually the vehicle extra change coordinator what I'd like to do is is maybe give you a free appraisal on your car maybe they say yes maybe they say no maybe the better you get it asking for it and talking about it the more people you start to convert just like anything in the beginning you're a little bit rusty but as time goes by guarantee after your 10th or 15th customer talking to your service station you'll start to get pretty sharp imagine after a hundred how many people a day are going to be coming into your store servicing their cars tons every day so even on the coldest day when there's no ups coming in a lot and you have no customers will you still have service customers yes you can do this every day for the rest of your life some of you guys out there you want to double your income right now and you're wondering how to do yeah elevate your game yes raise your attitude yes change your work ethic yes get more still all those are right but can we add this too I mean could we 10x our income by tapping into this yes okay so I'm teaching you some ideas here I give you seven ways here right how to convert how to probe for interest find an angle in everybody has a no way in you just have to be persuasive and you have to find it remember you want to copy this send me a text I'll send it to you 90 180 to 100 zero to five four so you can look at it when your game planning before you go to convert your first service best work number two I'm gonna talk about the guy that just got his car serviced we're actually gonna call him the next day do you ever talk to this guy no you've never seen him this is the guy you come in right and yesterday he was in your service station you never saw him but you asked your manager to give you access to call these service customers and just say thank you for servicing with us number one but number two you're the vehicle exchange coordinator and what you want to do is just reach out and say hello and ask him would they mind getting a free appraisal say hey I saw your blue Toyota Corolla when it was here I didn't see you and I'm sorry I was really busy I was given four or five appraisals some of us to some of our other customers so I didn't get to meet you number one I apologize for that but number two I would like to tell you I've been working with the lady for two weeks that's looking for a car identical to yours I actually snapped a couple pictures of it and sent it to her she's extremely interested what I do for a living is give people free appraisals on their cars I didn't get a chance to drivers let me ask you this if I didn't give you more than your car was worth would you be interested in maybe doing something with me behind a newer car maybe you have a service ticket that you know you had to pay in the service station but you know it was like you need to do that you change your spark plugs you need new tires you need an oil change and you need to you know do a transmission flush maybe you opted out of all those and you told the service manager to just give you an oil change right maybe you've got some work that needs to be done don't do anything to it let me give you top dollar I'll take it to it is and guess what even though you and you have a beautiful car the point is you don't spend any more money on it let me what are you doing you're probing you're trying to find a way and here's the coolest thing most of the time when you try to call this guy the next day he will or won't answer if he does answer you're gonna tell egg you appreciate him coming in and you're just gonna thank them and then you're gonna tell him who you are to the vehicle exchange coordinator and you would love to give them a free appraisal on his car you have a lady you've been working with for two weeks that's looking for a vehicle identical nurse would they mind if you gave them a free appraisal if they say yes set an appointment make it happen okay if they say no tell them to have a blessed day if they change their mind in the future contact you you're networking expanding your network now watch this if the guy don't answer if the lady don't answer I've already created a simple video it's a video that you'll have saved on your phone it's a generic one you will send it to every single service customer why if they don't answer why because it sets there it gives them a logistic what you do it probes for kind of a reason for them to call you back and guess what now you could do a new video every time that would be fine but this is one that I just have saved on my phone that when I work in guess what I do boom I just sent it out and the guy that I was telling you about that sells 50 a month on a service guess what he has one video sake on his phone just work and every morning he goes in let's say 24 customers were in service yesterday and you know he didn't get a chance to talk to them he will call 24 people those are his outbound calls every day out of those 24 maybe 20 don't answer that's just a realistic nosov it so you know what happens he doesn't send him a text message he just sends him a video and then and the text goes kind of like this hey this is Andy I work over here you know it ABC motors I saw you and her service in your car yesterday I made a quick video I'd like you to watch I appreciate you thank you and guess what you said that to them the video is attached to it here's what I want you to do if you want that video to send to them this video will hook them most of them will convert but you'll always get a response you'll increase your network you'll have the opportunity to work more Cardinals you'll have an opportunity work more cordials that haven't shopped that
