selling their services and acting as an agency as well first and foremost what can Vaas do right um this is one of the key questions with regards to Virtual assistance if you haven't worked with virtual assistance before um it's expected of you to have this question what are their abilities what are their uh capabilities what's their capacity Etc V can do a lot of stuff VA essentially stands for virtual assistant right you have numerous types of vas you have specialized Vas and then you have basic organizational vas basic organizational vas are basically vas that are going to work with your calendar they're going to work with data entry they're going to book appointments for you uh check your flights call your doctors Etc these vas are typically a great fit for very busy Executives within let's say busy companies um where they need time management and they need somebody to assist them with their schedule that type of stuff so organizational vas work great for that that's something that we offer as well and then um additional types of vas also include specialized vas so for instance content marketing specializing vas uh these are essentially vas that already have experience creating lead magnets across let's say Facebook Instagram across LinkedIn Etc or vas that understand basic video editing so short video editing that's something that can also be a specialization as well we go over many of these specializations a little bit later into the video but a basic understanding of what they can do and what they can specialize in is basically what I've mentioned limitation of va right um this is something that I find myself discussing in numerous sales calls with prospects and clients with regards to vas virtual assistance are excellent for when you already have a pre-established system that you essentially want to scale with additional Manpower if that's the case then a virtual assistant is perfect now if you need somebody to create a system for you and if you need somebody to think on their own to test experiment Etc in that case you'd essentially need an actual either an on-site or a remote employee that's going to cost you significantly more than $4 per hour which is the average cost of a certain VA let's say in the Philippines or within South America you're going to have to spend more and you're going to need somebody that has a lot more initiative and the position of a virtual assistant essentially doesn't really allow for that now certainly one in 20 vas that you work with you'll realize actually has like uh managerial material within them they can manage people they can work on their own they can experiment they can think for themselves definitely it's it's a question the person himself or herself as opposed to the position that they work uh in or under however the majority of EAS aren't really suited for that um so therefore it's important to also understand the limitation as well one of the recent vas that we essentially sold was a Content marketing management VA uh for the only fans industry again specialized VA for specialized industry with a specialized skill set we essentially connected the company with the VA and uh they're still working together best application of Vaas as I mentioned uh essentially existing systems looking to scale through Manpower examples of which include for example um if you already have an Outreach that's working for you right and uh you realize that if you put more people that we're generating more numbers you'd essentially generate more results in that case an Outreach VA or an Outreach specialist is an excellent match for you right however if you're just a startup and you're a one person company with limited cash flow and you're looking to hire Eva to test out and Outreach that in 95 % of the times won't really work because many things fail whenever you're running a business right in that case no a VA is not suitable for you because the virtual assistant is also looking for somewhat of a job security even though they treat uh many of the jobs as Freelancers um however it's just a hassle right you're you're essentially uh on boarding a VA for 2 weeks and you're firing them so on so forth you don't have a system that requires scaling through additional Manpower so that's something that's pretty important whenever you're thinking about whether I need a VA and whether a VA is actually capable of doing the work that I require them to do how much do they cost and this is one of the key attractive features of working with virtual assistants many of the virtual assistants that we essentially hire that you might hire that most people hire are located in lesser economies uh meaning that they can essentially earn less and they can also maintain an adequate or higher than usual quality of life because they earn less the reason why I find myself explaining this is because I've slowly realized that many people don't understand this they they think that we're taking advantage of the people and stuff like that which is absolutely not true if you check the minimum wage within let's say lesser economies like uh Afghanistan for example or Brazil or uh South Africa you quickly understand that the minimum wage is less than what we offer and at the same time we also give people the ability to work from the comfort of their home and from the comfort of the timetable that they set for themselves which is absolutely amazing and also gives them the ability to essentially increase their quality of life uh I've worked with is for $3 excellent people very smart people who uh have helped me out in tasks like Outreach stuff like that I've also worked with people at $5 and $10 Etc there is a minimum and there is a average maximum as well the absolute minimum that I've ever worked with people for is $3 now as you can imagine the work that I've expected from them and the work that I got from them is essentially $3 worth work for me right right I try to simplify the process as much as possible so uh $3 is at the end is also the lowest limit that I've personally seen like going just lower than that is it makes it it damages the potential motivation of the virtual assistant to just continue working with you and consider this as like an actual serious job so in that respect I'd say that $3 is the lowest limit and the highest limit that I'd be willing to pay a virtual assistant for again virtual assistant based work so work that doesn't really require a lot of initiative I could just give them a YouTube video say these are the steps do this this and that I'd pay up to $10 basically per hour however um if you're working with the $3 or $4 limit this essentially means that you can hire a full-time VA from 360 uh per month right $360 per month and this would entitle you to approximately 120 to 160 hours per month of full-time work tracked using tools like time doctor hop stuff Etc which we'll go into a little bit later but on the context of how much do they cost that's typically the average now you will find vas available from $8 $9 $10 Etc and you will also find vas available from $3 at inside Insight we Prime our vas to expect work starting from $4 per hour that is uh typically the the best rate that we've essentially seen up to this point which keeps most vas uh motivated to work and treat your treat your work work seriously and at the same time is the most lucrative for the companies that essentially work with us types of vas as I mentioned organiz you have organizational vas that can basically help you out with your calendar they can help you out with the booking schedulings travel plans Etc you have Outreach vas as well which can essentially assist you with any type of B2B or b2c Outreach as well for example if you're an e-commerce brand and uh you want to partner up with other brands as well you could basically create a data sheet so a grp Google sheet of let's say different Instagram profiles that you want the your vaa to outreach to give them a template as well and just simplify the job as much as possible to a simple copy paste type of work which of course you can automate as well but if you want to if you want to add an additional level of flexibility within it you can also hire a VA to do that and um that's something that we offer as well primarily on LinkedIn outreaches then junior sales vas right uh why hop on calls with potential time wasters when you can have a junior sales VA literally just have a script on a Google doc like let's say I've got my script open up right now you can have them have a script on a Google doc and then essentially just follow the script right record the call using fireflies.ai I recorded a whole video on how to do this which you can find somewhere above here or within my channel uh make sure to like And subscribe as well junior sales Vaas and they can essentially just pre-qualify those calls for you right and pre- prime the uh Prospect to hop on a call with a senior salesperson and that's uh essentially one thing that you could do very very easy in that case I typically I I typically motivate the VA uh adequately by offering them $3 to $4 per call if they're just doing calls I'd give them $3 to $4 per call not and not pay them on an hourly basis because every average introductory Discovery call can last anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes so in that case you're paying every uh you're paying the V $150 per call which I don't find to be enough to keep the actual V motivated then we have ad management vas so these are essentially vas that can assist with uh ad management so Facebook ads Library Etc now you do not expect them to let's say create a uh winning ad campaign that's going to generate a 4X RS for you no it's a VA it's not a it's not a Ad Agency nor is it an ad uh manager it's a ad management VA um you would use them for troubleshooting campaigns you would use them for generating creatives based on previous creatives that have been used before you would use them for those purposes so light work with regards to ad managers across Tik Tok LinkedIn Facebook Instagram Etc customer support V right again very very simple uh with the caned responses with regards to what you'd expect them to essentially answer um they can be used for e-commerce for SAS for anything of that sort content marketing vas the other one so they can essentially create Graphics they can work with AI in order to generate copy for you text if you guide them in the right direction they could possibly also create uh for example uh lead magnets right and if you get a good one they could also do short video editing however do not expect them to generate a Mr Beast video for you you know with Cuts Etc it's it's too much um so there is that limitation as well then uh Community moderation VA so if you want a Discord or if you want a telegram Etc you could also get a community moderation VA that will essentially uh moderate the community for you make sure that uh there's an active level of Engagement within the community and at the same time remove Bad actors from the community that might be wanting to spam Etc which countries are the best for VAs and this this question like can get this Channel and me pretty cancelled uh cuz if I say like one country sucks that like that's that's it um firstly I'll list all the countries that I essentially hire from and all the countries that I've worked with from up to this point and then I'll give you some individual comments uh not with regards to the general ability of this country to offer vas but more with regards to things that I've noticed basically because every country has good people and bad people every country has good workers and bad workers at the end of the day it falls down to personal preference and uh any prejudices that you might have and it's something that I also ask clients you know whenever they hire V from us like do you have any prejudices with regards to any accents Etc because um these are elements that you will find within certain countries and if our um if our clients want to avoid them we can assist them with that personally I have no prejudices or preferences of that sort however I will lay out a couple of things that I've noticed working with other countries so South America number one very very smart people you can get them at very very good rates however the level of English in most cases wasn't really there for us to uh double down but uh we did find people that do speak pretty good English as well as you will find in most countries and the way that we were able to do that was by running LinkedIn ads hiring individuals with a English degree uh within South America so we were able to override that problem South America is one of them so you can hire people from Colombia from uh Peru Etc from Mexico even though Mexico is a bit more expensive than the other countries um good prospects good people good rates however it's pretty hard to find people that speak really really good English and uh expect to if you're hiring for junior sales vas expect to deal with people that have a u somewhat Spanish accent so a little bit of a Hispanic English accent when you do find the good ones however you can also find people with amazing English no accent available to work at $4 per hour and it's that money is more than enough for them to lead like a good quality of life within the country that they're in then Eastern Europe so in this case I'm talking about Romania Bulgaria these people are very very smart very good for technical based work from uh my previous experience as well however the rates will be a little bit more expensive so because Europe is essentially getting a bit more expensive Eastern Europe as well uh because of the situation that we have right now um don't expect to be able to hire them for like $4 per hour expect it to be a little bit more so it it'll be more like around 7 8 Etc as like a minimum but you will come across very very smart people with a very good level of English however the accent might be a little bit more Eastern European to say the least however you can also find people with amazing uh English Lebanon is the other one so very very smart people uh the only reason why you're able to essentially work with these people right now is because of the economic crisis that the country is in it's hard to pay them though uh because there is a bit of a banking issue however if you're able to overcome the payment problem right and you're able to work with them you're going to come across very smart people with amazing English uh that are able to work at amazing rates as well that also have University degrees and are essentially you know people with a territory education India is the other one India is like the capital of Vaas right and the capital of remote work uh very very good you will come across the accent though as far as I've heard though uh India is becoming a little bit more expensive with regards to the hourly rates though you are able to come across people that are essentially able to work for $3 to4 per hour as well but I keep hearing that specialized work in India the price of it is going up Pakistan same like India uh you will come across a bit of an accent but you will also find people that speak amazing English uh same rates as well as India Pakistan I've never had any problem finding people that can work for $3 to4 per hour basically Russia uh Russia or Ukraine um so again Ukraine has become like a hot and always was considered a hotspot especially uh as part of Eastern Europe with regards to remote work very smart people you'll get very smart developers there essentially very smart technical workers um you can get them at a at a at a at a decent rate unfor unfortunately because of what's happening within the country and just how it affects the uh the overall economy so that's one and then Russia is the other one but Russia is going to be a bit more expensive and you're going to have a much harder time paying the people the only way that you could pay them is through crypto and you might even be sanctioned as I'm not fully sure with regards to the legality um but uh Russians are down to work uh remotely but you will have the pay the the issue of payments so you need to check if your country can even pay Russia to begin with with South Africa is amazing because South Africans have a distinct English accent uh which is very very good um and at the same time they're uh you can essentially work with uh South Africa at a very good rate I think the minimum wage in South Africa is like $2 or $3 if I'm not mistaken depending upon the fluctuation of the rant uh I'm referring to USD so South Africa for like junior sales positions is like one of the best places cuz you get uh you get really really good English for like a really really good rid and they're really good for like customer support roles junior sales roles Etc the only thing is the time difference so if you're in the US and you're hiring South Africans uh you will have a bit of a Time Gap but many of these people have already uh set up their lives ingly to be able to work at night to be able to compensate for uh us-based hours so that's not a problem whatsoever Philippines is the other one uh you can also get people working for $4 per hour Etc um but they will have their English is typically not the best from what I've seen but you will also also find Philippine vas with amazing English at a very very good rate and organizational vas from Philippines are like some of the best organizational vas that I found up until this point um where to find vas so the uh one way is LinkedIn search so essentially virtual assistant um that's one of the best ways to essentially find virtual assistant on your own uh without you know the middleman or the pimp or uh Etc as they like to call them essentially a person that's going to take a fee for introducing you or the recruiter um and uh you essentially just go in the search bar type in virtual assistant and then you'll come across well in this case we came across 541 th000 virtual assistants from all around the world including Philippines United States Etc be advised that many of these people are typically working for existing companies but they're always open to offers so uh if you need vas fast and you want to avoid the middleman just go here send them a couple of connection requests a couple of messages saying hey we're looking to hire a virtual assistant you'll have people answering you in no time there always very open even if they're already working in in existing positions so you should have no difficulty whatsoever the other one is Apollo so if you want their emails as well just do the same do the the exact same thing drop title virtual assistant access the email right and then of course you'll see some Freelancers that essentially work at upwork they don't actually work at upwork but they've listed their job title as virtual assistant on upwork on LinkedIn and because Apollo scrapes uh because Apollo scrapes LinkedIn it comes out as that uh they're not actually virtual assistant for upwork they're virtual assistant at upwork so Apollo is another one access email right and that's it that's essentially how you find vas very very fast without uh you know without having to go through an agency however there are benefits of going through an agency uh and an individual like me if you go through an individual like me you're going to have access to preved vas so we essentially preest all our vas uh through voice recordings we preet their English Etc before they're able to join with us we also do additional testings with regards to their actual specialization capabilities so like we'll have them create content Etc we'll train them as well we'll send them trainings with regards to what we expect from them um we give you the ability to run a free test as well up to one week essentially where you can test a VA with no cost whatsoever if you get your own VA uh through Linkedin or a polo you won't have that capability cuz no one's going to work for you for free but in our case we pay the VA so that you can test them for free and if you pay us we also offer you free Replacements so if you actually get a VA either for a monthly cost or on a placement fee basis if this VA if if they're pregnant they need to leave on maternity leave they cannot work anymore something has happened we will give you a free replacement in in another case you would have to go through the whole process and the whole payment again on your own so there is definitely benefits associated with hiring through an agency right it can be a bit more expensive but you have additional fullback protection systems that essentially protect you and accelerate the process and remove your risk um how to test vas and this is something that's we do all the time and this is something that I see clients do all the time right um one of the ways is essentially prepare test tasks so for example if you're hiring a Content marketing um assistant or a Content marketing based VA tell them for example please prepare a LinkedIn post with a graphic talking about blockchain development right with a graphic so you you'll essentially see the graphic designs skills whether they can work with canva with photoshop with whatever and uh you will also see their copyrighting skills right uh tell them use AI but up until a point I need you to proofread it and make it sound um as natural as possible right and then you'll be able to essentially test so they can they can send you the LinkedIn post and you'll be able to test out their content marketing skills do that five to 10 times and you'll gain a pretty decent understanding of how capable the actual VA is the other one is Outreach right so um Outreach example you can tell them send me an email with a u personalized copy or a personalized message essentially selling this service or selling this product and then you'll be able to test out their capability from there or you can even tell the VA to cold call you and you could do a uh you could do a dummy call basically a test call or you can even set up an AI uh that they can call get set up the AI reord the call and then listen to it and you can do that with like bland. if the U URL that I remember is cor correct so that's one way to test the VA essentially through exposure controlled exposure and you'll be able to essentially see if they're good or not however there is no replacement for time right and the biggest test of all is time under which you're exposed and uh that's something that we offer with a free test up to a week so you'll be able to test out the VA for up to a week and essentially see if they're worth your time or not how do you work with vas right communication Tool Time tracking tools frequency of checking their work and uh in many cases slowly as you work with more remote talent and more vas assigning a senior VA to manage the junior VA communication tools typically I'll use WhatsApp for the uh conferences and meetings with clients or the virtual assistance will use Google meet I've transitioned fully from Zoom uh cuz there's like no point of paying cuz Google meet just does everything so much better and you don't need to download anything as well so um that's my thing time tracking tools and time tracking tool are absolutely essential when when working with the remote Talent uh we use time doctor other people use Hub staff key thing about it is is that the VA can essentially track their hours throughout a month working on a certain project you have screenshots to back up their claims of how many hours they've spent working on something so you essentially don't get screwed over and then when the VA sends you an invoice uh through let's say invoice generator.com at the end of the month you go on time doctor or Hub staff you check the screenshots for the month you confirm that like yes sure the VA has been working on the right thing for the month you pay it and that's it done that's that's the whole process of working with remote talent and virtual assistant remote Partners or uh remote uh marketing managers so on so forth time tracking invoice and that's it frequency of checking their work typically I'll do one check every 24 to 48 hours just to check what they've done up to this point this is more of a management topic but some people might find this of assistance and then in many cases as you scale the system more and more and you hire more people like let's say for outreach Specialists you'll slowly start seeing some VES being better than others so in that case what you could do is just bring in more new vas pick out the best VA that speaks good English has that initiative Etc tell them here's another $2 per hour manage these people and train them and make sure that the work is done and then you essentially check the work once every week right because you've uh you've elevated someone up to the position of quote unquote manager and that's it very very simple um how do you pay the vas as well so right now uh we will do it through a combination of crypto PayPal wise is the other one where I transfer and then for invoicing as I mentioned invoice generator.com there's honestly no U reason to not be able to do business with a certain VA right now cuz you have like all these payment methods the only thing is is they might be in a country that uh makes it a little bit harder for you Etc that I understand but there's there's a lot of options with regards to that how do you train V right so that's essentially the other one and um this is a bit of an art uh because whenever I work with vas I do not want to overload them with information but at the same time I want them to be capable of completing the work that I request from them so the way that I do that is through a combination of Sops so essentially Google Docs that will outline everything that needs to be done and then the other one is YouTube videos as well so I do a combination of both now in theop I'll essentially outline step by step the entire process of what I want the VA to complete to go on this website copy this adjust this Etc so on so forth that all of that is written in a document and then additionally to compensate and to uh to complement those instructions I'll also have a YouTube video that is on private showing the process step by step I want the role and I want the position to be as simple as step one copy paste send step two uh copy paste send Etc something that is simple as that this the more the more time you dedicate towards this the less time you need to dedicate later to answering questions right and troubleshooting and understanding why this didn't work and this didn't work and this didn't work and every time you bring in a new person you don't need to sit down and re explain it every single time because that is absolutely insane just send them the SOP tell them watch this YouTube video an hour later text them do you have everything you need to get started yes or no simple as that and then they'll let you know if they require anything else you and if you're seeing that a lot of people are requiring this adjust the video adjust the SOP add in that new information and kick it off from there that is the way if I see people hopping on calls with 10 other people explaining the same thing over and over again there is no point to do that literally uh especially when you have stuff like YouTube and video hosting websites where you just OBS share your screen teach them and uh essentially teach uh 10 people at once and then additionally for uh training your vas you know pass the uh initial task of what you need them to complete if you're looking to actually upskale your vas and maintain them within your company for a long period of time boot camp right so U your own video content in our case we I'll typically add some vas to the growth hacking boot camp vas that I see potential in um I'll give them access to all our content for free right other training so like one-on-one trainings where uh let's say at the end of a week every week you can have like a review uh video conference call with the vas to essentially train them on other stuff if you see potential in them and other ways but you can train vas and uh the foundation of the task that you want done should in most cases be laid down with an soop and a YouTube video and the YouTube video must be simple right straight to the point covering a couple of troubleshoots that they might run into and the more time you spend into this the less time you need to essentially spend into answering questions later on now the SOP shouldn't be over complicated because you don't want them opening up an encyclopedia right of like let's say 20 Pages it's going to be hard to follow so a YouTube video that is 5 minutes can typically cover an SLP that would
