welcome back to end this guide in today's video we are going to show you how to create an invoice template in zero within 5 minutes let's begin now the first thing that I need to do is to log in using your credentials if this is your first time in zero I need you to click the sign up option and from here just follow the onscreen instructions and you're good to go creating an invoice template in zero is a straightforward process because you can customize your invoice templates to align with your branding and business needs now here go to the top left corner of your dashboard and click on the settings this is a very quick guide to setting up a basic invo template in zero and we promise it's about 5 minutes click on the invoice settings because here is the section that we can customize all the information that we needed now once we are here now there's going to be four tabs for you to choose from but I want you to go to the new branding theme click the drop- down menu and there's going to be the custom dock now we're going to give it a name for example um maybe this or maybe and these guids click okay and then the next thing that we need to make sure is to we're going to download it to the Microsoft Word all right this is very important click that and of course download it to your computer once you've done that once you have downloaded the file I want you to click on the invoice right click and open with Microsoft Word but in my case I'm opening the doc next to the Google Docs because it's a lot easier for me to work there okay now I'm going to rename this one as this you see there's going to be an option here to add your logo or your brand we'll do that right now we're going to insert a photo straight from our computer once I've done that make it sure it that would reflect your brand I'm going to put it not actually Center space and then insert another um logo here okay so of course you can put in your invoice title for example this is going to be okay so this is okay now you see there's um one of a few options that you might want to remove there because normally now there's an option that says payment advice this is normally used for checking checking account but you know there's not a lot of people who uses the uh checking anymore so to get rid of this all going to do is just click on this option right here there's going to be an option that says remove footer all right and after that make sure you have the payment image inserted and make sure all the information is correct now here make sure you have the correct information for your bank details for example I'm going to put in my bank details here and then once you're happy with that all I'm going to do is save if you're using the traditional Microsoft for in my case since I'm using Google Docs what I'm going to do is click on download as Microsoft word. docx I'm going to download it and of course upload it to the zero now here we need to upload our customize. talkx I'm going click on that file that we have recently created of course that's going to be for invoice click on browse and of course click on upload now while we're at it there's going to be an section here that says Okay so let's uh reduce that file now the file has been already uploaded successfully and while we're at it might want to upload an email logo going to upload again a logo here okay so the logo has been updated and you might want to drag this all the way to the top so that whenever you wanted to send invoice to your clients to your company it's going to be a lot easier right this one now with this all in mind you can speed up the invoicing process with a ready to use template of course you can standardize information and layout to avoid mistakes you can present a Polish uniform appearance to clients it makes a fast updates to accommodate changings in branding or business needs because when you present a policy and consistent look to clients it would reflect your business attention to details right it you can easily update the and customize the templates to fit different requirements or changes and of course by doing so you would be able to minimize errors and ensure that all necessary information is included on each invoices that's it for today's video thank you so much for watching we will see you again in the next one
