Whereas Releasee owns a Car used in drag races, hereinafter called Car and more particularly described as follows ( e.g., manufacturer, model, VIN, color) _________________ ____________________________________________________________; and Whereas, Releasor desires to drive Car in races and other venues and practice; and Whereas, Releasee is willing to allow Releasor to drive Car as aforesaid provided he execute this Release; Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: 1. Releasor, for himself his spouse, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, hereby releases, waives and discharges Releasee, his (e.g., officers and members, promoters, sponsors, and advertisers) _________________________________________________________________and each of them, herein referred to as Releasees, from all liability to the Releasor, his spouse, legal representatives, heirs and assigns, for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or damages resulting therefrom, on account of injury to Releasor฀s person or property, even injury resulting in death of the Releasor, whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise while the Releasor is driving said Car. 2. Releasor understands that Releasee is not insured. 3. Releasor agrees to indemnify the Releasees and hold them harmless from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to the driving of said Car by Releasor , whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. 4. Releasor hereby assumes full responsibility for the risk of bodily injury, death or property damage due to the negligence of Releasees or otherwise while driving said Car. 5. Releasor expressly agrees that this release, waiver, and indemnity agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of _____________________, and that if any portion thereof is held invalid, it is agreed that the balance shal l, notwithstanding, continue in full legal force and effect.
