The Office
of Management and Budget (OMB)
regulations at 5 CFR 1320, which
implement provisions of the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. 3501
et seq.), require that interested members
of the public and affected agencies have
an opportunity to comment on
information collection and
recordkeeping activities (see 5 CFR
1320.8(d)). We have submitted a request
to OMB to renew its approval of the
collection of information for the annual
certification of hunting and sport fishing
licenses issued by States and Territories.
We are requesting a 3-year term of
approval for this information collection
activity.

SUMMARY: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife
Service (We) has submitted the
collection of information listed below to

The Service administers grant
programs authorized by the Federal Aid
in Wildlife Restoration Act (16 U.S.C.
669–669b, 669–669k) and the Federal
Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Act (16
U.S.C. 777–777m). These Acts, and our
regulations at 50 CFR 80.10, require that
States annually certify their hunting and
fishing license sales. The Service uses
the information collected to determine
apportionment and distribution of funds
under these Acts. We are proposing
minimal changes to the forms we use to
collect this information.
