VOTING REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS-In order to vote in the state of Ohio, you must meet the following requirements:You must be a U.S. citizen. You must be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election.You must be at least 18 years old on or before the day of the general election. If you will be 18 on or before November 7, you may vote in the primary election for candidates.  You must not be incarcerated (in prison) for a felony conviction under the laws of the U.S., Ohio or any other state of the U.S. You must not have been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court.You must register to vote in Ohio at least 30 consecutive days before the election. If you register to vote by mail, you must postmark your application no later than the 30th day before the first election in which you want to vote.
