PARENT-CHILD DRIVING PRIVILEGE CONTRACT This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into as of this       day of       , 20       , by and between       ,       (hereinafter referred to as PARENT(s)) and       (hereinafter referred to as CHILD) who reside at       in the state of       for purposes of establishing appropriate driving times. WHEREAS, CHILD will be permitted to drive the car on the following days, during the specified hours: Monday       am       pm Tuesday       am       pm Wednesday       am       pm Thursday       am       pm Friday       am       pm Saturday       am       pm Sunday       am       pm WHEREAS, CHILD understands that breaking the driving laws or abusing a motor vehicle can result in the loss of driving privileges, even if PARENT (S) learn about it from a source other than the police. WHEREAS, CHILD agrees that n o one else should be allowed to drive a vehicle entrusted to CHILD. This means that no friends or otherwise of CHILD shall be permitted to drive the vehicle at any time. WHEREAS, If CHILD is ever in a condition that might render CHILD less than 100% competent behind the wheel of a car, CHILD shall contact PARENT (S) at home or wherever they are. This will not result in the loss of driving privileges. WHEREAS, CHILD is never to be a passenger in a car in which the driver should not be driving. A call to come and get CHILD will not result in the loss of driving privileges. If parents cannot be reached, a taxi will be hired and PARENT (S) will pay for it. There will be no punishment. Now, THEREFORE, in consideration of the material promises set forth below the parties hereby agree as follows: 1. This Agreement is comprised of this document and shall incorporate any amendments, provided they are properly written and executed as provided herein. The terms of this Agreement shall control over any conflicting terms contained in ancillary documents. 2. This Agreement shall become effective when signed by both parties and shall continue in full force and effect until       20       . 3. CHILD shall abide by the terms of the contract and shall not be given any privileges until such compliance. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. 4. This Agreement may be renegotiated at the following date       20       . Revision or renegotiation is based upon CHILD’S progress. CHILD will earn more or fewer privileges based on behavior demonstrated throughout the course of this Agreement. 6. Should CHILD choose to break the terms of this Agreement then the following sanctions will apply: a. First time infraction-       b. Second time infraction-       c. Third time infraction-       AN INFRACTION shall be defined as breaking the terms of this contract, including but not limited to, driving outside of the time periods granted to CHILD, permitting friends or others to drive the vehicle entrusted to CHILD, driving while intoxicated or in a reckless manner, any ticket (speeding, failing to stop etc.) received by any law enforcement officer, any other disturbance or problem related to the driving privileges granted CHILD. 7. PARENT (S) agrees to note any instances of good behavior and grant privileges accordingly. 8. PARENT (S) agrees to acknowledge and permit CHILD’S choice and manner of dress on any date.
