The Lease and all rights granted by the Lease are owned by Lessee, named above. Lienholder, named above, is the record owner and holder of a (Description of Lien) on/against the Lands as provided in that certain (Name of Instrument Creating Lien; e .g., Deed of Trust/Mortgage), dated ____, recorded in Volume ____, page ____ of the ____ Records of the above named county. It is believed to be in the best interest of Lienholder to subordinate its lien to the Lease to facilitate the exploring for and production of oil and/or gas from the Lands. For adequate consideration, Lienholder subrogates and subordinates, to the Lease, all liens owned and/or held by Lienholder which are created and granted by the (Description of Instrument Creating Lien) described above, and agrees that the Lease shall have t he same validity and effect as if executed, delivered, and recorded prior to the date of the (Name of Instrument Creating Lien) securing the Lienholder’s lien.
