Nitrous Oxide, Methane, and a few other trace gasses make up the remaining 1%.The graph above shows that there was an Ice Age about 440 Million years ago, when the CO2 levels were 11 times higher than now. Changes in CO2 levels FOLLOW changes in global temperatures by 800–1200 years. In addition, the IR light absorption bands of CO2 are nearly saturated and doubling the level of CO2 from the current 410 PPM to 820 PPM would at best only raise the global temperatures by 0.2 to 0.3 degrees, partially because the main Greenhouse Gas, Water Vapor, has a negative feedback, not positive as the alarmists claim.So what actually does cause ‘Climate Change’? There are several factors, including slight changes in the total light output from the sun, changes in sunspot activity, changes in the length of the sunspot cycles, and long term changes in the orbit of our solar system in our galaxy.Sir Herschel of England in 1801 published his study the sunspot activity going back to the 1500’s and observed a strong correlation between the number of sunspots and the ‘price of wheat’ (temperature & growing season length). He stated that when there were a lot of sunspots, the price of wheat was ‘cheap’, and when there were few sunspots, the price of wheat was ‘dear’ (expensive). His theory about the connection between sunspot activity and the global temperatures, was proven in an experiment at the Swiss CERN national laboratory by Dr. Henric Svensmark.
