These are essentially the 2 aspects you need to consider when planning how you will make money from your blog. So, what are some ways to drive traffic to a blog? Well, there are a number of primary methods, including: * Social media promotion. * Organic traffic growth (from writing long form content and utilizing SEO best practices) * Driving referral traffic (from guest posts, forum posts, etc.) * Paying for advertising. Personally, I’m a firm believer that organic traffic and SEO are your best friend. In the long run, writing 2,000+ word articles and targeting long-tail keywords that drive organic traffic will give you the best returns…you can benefit from organic growth without having to invest time in social media promotion or other marketing efforts.
