hey hey Brian Cincy here in this video I'm going to show you how to digitally sign a PDF document without special software that's right you can sign a PDF right inside the edge browser let's take a look okay so I have this PDF document it's a contract but I do not have any special PDF software that would allow me to open this up and sign it or type on it so I can get around that by opening it up in the edge browser to do this I'm going to right click on it and I'm going to go to open with and I'll select Microsoft Edge okay so here it is open in the Microsoft edge browser so this is a contract from the Brian Sensei School of Rock and it is a contract that we wrote up we're hiring sting to teach some lessons [Music] so loud and so sting needs to come in here type his name date it and then sign his signature here so I'm going to demonstrate here how that would work up at the top of the browser you're going to see these tools this toolbar will automatically appear whenever you're viewing a PDF document in the edge browser so look what we have here we have the ability to type right on the document so I'm going to click this capital T and now I have the ability to type I can just click anywhere on the document and start typing okay and then over here I will click again to type the date and notice here I have the opportunity to change the font color if I'd like and the size here's my trash can if I need to delete it okay and finally is the signature so now I'm going to go up here and click on draw and now I can draw by using the touch screen capabilities I might have on my laptop or if you have an external device like a writing tablet or a mouse stylus and can go ahead and sign the signature just like that if you're using your mouse you can just hold the left click button down and then begin drawing with the mouse now the last step here is to come up to the top right and save the document and we can do a save as and we will rename the file and we'll go ahead and click save and that's it we have now edited this PDF document not only editing text by adding it to the document but we've also added a signature now we can email this back to the sender or print it out whatever we'd like to do alright I hope you enjoyed this tutorial let me know in the comments below if you would like a specific Tech tutorial created fill out the form that is linked in the description below alright have a fantastic day and I'll see you on the next one
