How to eSign a document: how to digitize a signature
hi my name is Nick and welcome to my video tutorial in this video we're going to learn how to make a digital copy of your signature you can use for your resume and other important documents just like this and in this tutorial we are going to use Adobe Photoshop scan a copy of your signature in a clean sheet of paper and open it in Adobe Photoshop if you don't have a scanner available just like I do you can use your smartphone's camera once you have your file open go to your layers palettes unlock the background layer by double-clicking between the word background and the lock icon inside so when the new layer dialog box appear just hit OK and we are good to go a layer now is unlocked and the name background is now replaced by layer zero double click it again here and the layer style dialog box will appear in the blending options go to this layer which is under the blend effort section and in this layer just move the right slider to the left and as you can see the background of the signature is slowly disappearing but don't overdo it or the rule signature is slowly disappear as well you can just stop right here where the signature has no more background get your lasso tool and select the signature press ctrl J to copy the selection to a new layer make a new layer under the signature layer let's make it white so we can clearly see the signature and there you go we can still enhance this by adjusting the brightness and contrast as the signature layer selected go to adjustment layer select brightness contrast and adjust according to your liking I'm making this a little brighter there this is before and this is after and we're done you can see more work in JPEG format with all the white background but if you want your signature to be transparent I suggest to save it in PNG file format but first delete the background layer and merge all the remaining layer by pressing ctrl e then save your file in PNG format change the file name to something you can easily recognize and save just press okay in the next video I'll show you how to insert this in your word document thank you for watching and have a wonderful day [Music]
