hi this is eric here and in this tutorial we're going to be going through batch invoicing so batch invoicing is used typically for a company that does like for example appliance rentals where every month they send out the same invoices they did last month but different dates and different invoice number and it's for people that invoice on a monthly basis with the same service so first of all first of all we select it from the menu at the top batch invoicing and at the moment we've got three invoices in a batch and you can have several batches so these three invoices all belong to batch number one so they'll all be processed together as one batch and the way it works is you first create the invoice manually and then you put it into the screen and then it'll make every month make a copy of that invoice for the next month so it just keeps cloning basically the invoice every month if you only gonna do a batch invoice once a year then i think it's probably easier just to make one invoice and then for each person that needs to be sent that invoice you just clone it using the normal clone procedure but you can add it here if you want for this example i've selected to email you can print if you want uh this is more a hangover from the past and there's two ways that you can email you can either email it so that the invoice is in the body of the text or you can email it and send the invoice as a pdf so if we just look at the invoice numbers so it's four one two the first one and then if i hit process batch you'll see these all updates and send the emails so i'll just do that now and there you go the three invoices have been sent and the numbers have incremented and that's basically it for batch invoicing okay see you in the next tutorial see ya bye
