are already on my list of best friends so uh let's start for today when you purchase a template you usually receive a PDF file with a link to the specific template so this is what you receive when you buy my specific uh invoice template in this case so it's like this it's like a two pages uh PDF that you can read once you purchase everything and it says click here for the invoice template it's pretty easy it's pretty friendly you have it right there so click on it and you get to canva uh it says use template click here and then you enter the template okay so this template has different version different colors and different things so I'm gonna just focus on one you can decide which one you prefer and just work on that so but before starting I want to tell you two things kava has two types of account it has a free account and a paid account this one that you see right now is my free account as you can see up here there's a leader crown and right here it's a try cover Pro the pro is the paid account if you sign up to canva and you have a free account you can still do amazing design the free canva account is just uh the best uh for when it comes to free design software it has many features it has many different elements that you can add it has all the different sizes and shapes and everything that you can use for your marketing and if for example you want to use an element that has this little Crown it says Pro you can add it in your design but before downloaded in downloading it canva is going to ask you to pay for it so it's a once it's a one-time payment that you do it's very tiny it's like I think it's a dollar or something like that for that specific element that you can buy for one time um you don't really need the pro account but it does have some sweet features in it so uh also down below you can find a link to try the pro account for free for 14 days I'm gonna leave it in the description below but let's get started for today um canva let's talk about canva if you don't know canva it's a pretty simple uh designing tool okay so you have right here you have the template that you can easily modify you can modify pretty much everything in it I suggest you not to modify this part okay because it's all lined up but I'm going to show you how to add your own um your own item description and prices and everything if you do not have a camp account sorry I forgot to mention that if you do not have a camera account just sign up it's free it is very fast it takes less than two minutes and then I'll see I'll meet you in this very page done it ready okay let's go so um company name all right I want to change this company name I'm going to click on the element so when you see that it's highlighted like this it means that you are working on that specific element so I'm going to delete this one and I'm going to write my name and last name which is my brand okay and then the company address so you can fill this with your specific information if you want to add your logo you can add it here if you don't want to add your logo you can click on it and just delete okay but if you have a logo and you are familiar with a camera just you know go ahead and edit there if not you and you have not uploaded it yet The Comma just click on upload okay upload the file okay and it once it's here you can click on it drag it to the little circle and leave it there all right so this is the invoice with my logo okay so uh what else item description this element here have been set to be in the same line okay if something changes and a switch and you switch a few elements just go back right here and to this part okay so you can write you can write up to 10 elements here what do you do you click on it you go all the way back and you start adding okay so maybe you have a bakery let's say you have a baker okay we're gonna start waiting cinnamon rolls and then you say a croissant and then you sell uh I don't know a burger cake or whatever um and cookies okay so I just brought here the item description and I go back here and I delete the quantities and I see how many cinnamon rolls I'll say eight and eight croissant and one birthday cake and I don't know 30 cookies okay if you're currency is different from the US dollar and you have a different uh symbol you can add it here otherwise you just can leave it like this okay I'm gonna just you know keep the same price and everything just for you know um heavy data easier okay and then you just go here delete this one click here go on the lower part delete okay and you have it like this so this is my invoice I'm going to come in down here change taxes if in my country it's a different number you can uh maybe seven percent twenty five twenty one percent depending on whatever your uh country requests and then you have the subtotal here Texas the total and uh the invoice part is done so what you want to do is fill this fill this and the logo and save that template uh you can make a copy of it so in case something changing you lost you lose it you still have a copy of that how do you do that you go on file and you just click on make a copy and it's gonna make a copy of this one so that you have it saved okay um every time that you want to make an invoice just feel whatever it is that gives a client name the invoice number the issue date and everything and then if when you're ready and you want to print it you go up here to share Download a pdf if you prefer PDF I mean there are options here um you want the first page or whatever page it is that you prefer done and you just click on download what you want to do when you download your invoice um it's easier to save them and file them on your computer by I don't know your filing system you can file them by a client Name by month by due date on whatever it is so uh just file them with your computer as you prefer okay and if you want to use all of the colors okay you can just easily say I don't know invoice number one is this color was number two is this color was number three you have different options here then you can use all of them just make sure uh to uh to minimize the time that you work on it you just put this the company address this information the logo the payment methods and um and the taxes number here all keep all those information fixed and then every time you go back you will have those information and you will not have to do it over and over again so once this is done just download it uh send it via email to your client or customer uh just um printed cited give it by
