in this video we're going to go through the new driver settlement page as well as the new flow for creating driver settlement statements to start off head over to the invoices and bills module and go into the new driver settlement page to start you'll see we have two default tab here the first one is your outstanding tab which shows you all of the items that have not yet been added to a settlement statement next we have the bills tab which shows you all of your created bills and from here you have default views that guide you through the bill approval process now to start head over to the outstanding tab and use the filter to select your driver here we've selected gerald and in this tab which shows all of the outstanding items we can see all of the work and fuel purchases for this driver now to create a statement start in the manifest tab this shows you all of the completed work for your driver that has not yet been built from here you can select all the manifests and drill down into a specific one if you want to see the particular pay now once you have your work or manifest selected you can move over into the fuel tab rose rocket will save your selection so we can see if we go back to manifests these will all still be selected here so if we go into fuel we can select the fuel purchase and in the recurring items you can see any recurring payments or deductions for that driver once you have all of your items selected that you want to group on a settlement statement use the create bill button from here you can either add this to a consolidated bill or create a new report once you've created a new bill you're able to see this on the bill details page here first we have all of the work which we can see the subtotal is 800 and then we can see an option for adjustments and recurring payments here we can see that fuel has been added which we selected in the list view before but you can use this ad recurring items to add any other recurring costs that are set up on your driver profile this button lets you choose which statements these are added to so you don't have to do that manually once that's all added you can scroll to the bottom to review the total and leave any notes for this statement once you're done you can click approve and send and choose how you want to notify your driver for this i'm going to mark a sent but not notify your driver but if you want you can send it to them via email now you'll see at the top that your bill has been updated to approve status we've added this new status so you can differentiate between bills that have been reviewed and are approved between bills that have been paid we go back into the driver settlement page and we now click on the bills tab we can see our new bill here has been created and what's left to do is create a is create a payment now if we go back into the driver settlement list and we go into the bills tab we're able to see our new created bill that has been approved this will also show in the approved status so you can easily find bills with the same status now from here what's left to do is to mark this as paid so once you can confirm that this is paid click the create payment button and select the total amount that's been paid if you want to make a partial payment you can do so not you can do so here if we head back into the driver settlement page and we go into this bills tab here we can see that our new bill has been inputted here and is showing an approved status now what's left to do is record the payment once you want to confirm that the payment is made you can add the amount and the payment date here once you select pay bill the bill will be updated into paid status and you'll also see that in the paid column here these three tabs allow you to filter your bills by status so you can easily see all bills that have been approved or are waiting to be paid since we've already sent the statement to your driver what you can do is go back into the bill and edit the payment if there are any changes as well as exported to quickbooks using the quickbooks tab here we hope you enjoyed this video and please reach out to us if you have any questions or feedback on getting started with the new driver settlement page thanks you
