recommend is setting up a referral program referral programs are an excellent way to incentivize your existing clients to refer you new clients for your agency you could offer discounts or even free services to clients that refer a new client to your agency you can also set up a system where clients receive a commission for every new client they refer referral programs can be a very effective way to tap into your existing client base and leverage their connections to help you grow your business for example all of my staff and coordination staff are reminded to contact our patients on a regular basis to let them know hey do you have any friends that might need the same services do you have any family members that may need help we also send out group text messages to all of our caregivers and AIDS letting them know that they get a referral bonus for every patient that they bring in now the metrics that we use in our agency is that every Home Care life is worth between $10 to $15,000 in value so we like to try to offer anywhere from $200 to $11,000 as a referral bonus for any patient that we land through one of these referral sources so you could really incentivize your aids to be out there looking for patients for you as well as the patients that you're caring for because $11,000 at $30 an hour gets them a week of services if they were to bring in a friend or family member creating marketing materials that speaks directly to them this could involve creating ads or content that addresses specific pain points or concerns that your target audience may have for example if your target audience as caregivers who are looking for inhome care for their elderly parents you could create content that addresses their concerns about leaving their parents alone or about the cost of inhome care targeted marketing can be done through social media email marketing or other online channels if you find this information helpful the best thing that you can do for the channel is like the video and subscribe to the channel it's your way of giving back to us and it means so much to me and my team the third method I want to talk about is community outreach this involves getting offices but the thing is they're not going to really care too much about routing you private paid clients where you want to go is to the nursing facilities that need to discharge patients that have had like a surgery or a change and they're not going to be admitted to the facility and they want to be able to actually discharge them and put them in the the proper hands of another agency you're also going to want to go to uh community centers or even professionals that work with the Elder Care community so you're going to go to to potentially will in state planning attorneys because sometimes they have clients who have managed long-term care insurance that they've helped them secure and they don't know how to activate that that coverage so if you start to network with with attorneys that are Elder Care attorneys or that are willing the state and estate planning attorneys they're already tied into a network of people who can afford private pay or who have long-term care insurance that could afford their private pay and since they're attorneys they really don't know the agencies and who to refer to but their clients who they entrusted them to set up their end of Life Care their clients will end up reaching back out to them for advice now if you are in network with all the Elder Care attorneys in your community you'll be the first one that gets notified when their clients have that change of of care need and you'll be the go-to person that they refer to because there there's not many other agencies who are doing that so that's a tip that you could take home with you one of my favorites is online reviews and testimonials this is the fourth method that I want to talk about which is leveraging online reviews and testimonials given to you by the public online reviews can be a powerful tool for building trust and credibility with potential clients encourage your satisfied clients to leave reviews on popular sites like Google Yelp or Facebook you
