in this video we're going to talk about the template settings here in freshbooks so again i accessed the settings at the top right and then i clicked on the template section so i actually wish there were a few more customizations available in terms of what your invoices look like here in freshbooks unfortunately they're not available to us right now but maybe that's something that freshbooks will implement in the future but we do have a couple different options you can see you can choose your template which is either the classic template or the clean template so it really just is a difference of table borders you can see in this classic template we've got some borders around the tables and in the clean template we don't have that i tend to like this clean template better but you can choose whichever one you like down at this drop down and as you scroll down the only other options you have are really how you would like things to be named so when you send somebody an invoice do you want to be called an invoice or do you want to call it a bill you could change that here same with estimates you could call it a proposal for the credit title if you're issuing a credit to somebody's account you could also call that something different depending on your organization your products and your services and then at the same time you can choose whether or not a payment stub will be added to the end of your pdfs so that's a good idea if you are actually handing somebody a pdf in person and they want a receipt for the invoice you can go ahead and give them the payment stuff at the bottom of the invoice so that is definitely up to you once you're ready go ahead and click the save button
