can Google be used now for email marketing and to send bulk emails with templates to external users for example to customers yes that is now possible Google have released a feature just in the last three months which allows you to send bulk marketing emails from your Gmail inbox now there are some limits to this I think there is a recipient limit of around 1 500 but you are able to do it and so for small email sends this would make sense now keep in mind that if you are sending emails on a regular basis and you're doing newsletters and you want to grow your newsletter list and have people be able to opt in and opt out and manage that list as an asset I'd recommend you make use of something that's a bit more sophisticated you might look at something like MailChimp or activecampaign or if you want to get really really Advanced there's options like Infusionsoft and ontraport which allow you to create sequences and different goals for customers to progress through different levels of your business and different levels of your marketing kind of funnel but if you want to do the absolute Basics you can absolutely do that right inside of your Gmail now hopefully this feature has been switched on for me because I know it's a very a new feature but I'm going to hopefully be able to demo it for you and show you exactly what that looks like so right from within our Gmail we're just going to hit the compose button and open up a new email oh and look at that they have arrived I can choose inside my emails using these two features down the bottom to either switch on layouts which I won't use right now or multi-send mode and when I click multi-send mode and switch that on it's going to allow me to choose a certain number of recipients and so you can see here there's a little message that's popped up and that said you're using multi-send mode each person is going to get a separate copy of this email with a unique unsubscribe link and then we can create those mailing lists inside of Google contacts wonderful okay well that's great I can see that the unsubscribe link has been created down the bottom so that's all compliant with anti-spam laws that's going to mean that you know everyone has the ability to opt out which is something that is very important otherwise you'll get in trouble with a Spam police and so from here any recipients that I want to add let's click on the two button and I can choose either a number of individuals or even some lists of contacts so I don't know if I have oh here we go we've got a copper list all right there's a thousand contacts there I can go ahead and select those and click insert and it's going to send it to those thousand people so it looks like it's frozen a little bit here all right cool it's brought everyone in I want to see what happens if I try and add more recipients maybe even more that it can handle because my understanding is is that it's got a limit of around 1500 and notice my Gmail is slowing right down that's pretty cool that does not happen often all right so let's go here what happens if I select all select all my contacts it looks like it's actually added a couple of thousand people in there which is lovely so we choose a subject we send out our email put in our text and then we can choose to send that off all right if you like this content please hit subscribe and hit the Bell notification so you can be notified when we go live or drop new content on the channel if you'd like to connect with us hit us up on social media or join our free community group all the links to that are right below this video if you'd like to learn more about Google workspace and the technology ecosystem you can join our free genius academy by transferring your billing across to it genius or you can join a workspace Basics boot camp now if you're a business owner and you're interested in an audit on your technology stack or your workspace account or you're looking to do a project in the tech World well you can take advantage of our free consultation and if you need help right now then consider joining concierge or taking up a quick fix with our team for professional support for your Tech stack [Music] thank you
