hey guys Sean from Catch 22 non-profit and today's video is all about how to apply for Google for non-profits so don't forget to like And subscribe to the channel turn on notifications and ring that Bell let's dive into the video we did a video once before about Google for non-profits talking to you about everything about Google for nonprofits what it is what it's all about what you get with with the program now I'm going to talk to you about how to apply for Google for nonprofits it's actually very very easy and so all you have to do is go online to Google and and you can even Google Google for nonprofits I'll drop the link into the show into the comments below and you go on to Google for nonprofits you fill out the application depending on which country you are in you're you're either going to fill out the techsoup application which techsoup I did a whole video about techsoup and I'll talk about it really briefly again techsoup is the company that fuels the Google ad Grant and fuels all the Google for non-profits program it's a partnership with Google and once you apply to techsoup you get all these different discounts and everything you need and more for your nonprofit on software tools resources marketing help anything you need is within techsoup so once you apply your and you get in you're good to go it takes about up to 14 days for the entire process so what you have to do first is apply to techsoup then you have to and then once you send out your information all you need is to send your IRS 501c3 determination letter document the original hard copy that you get from the IRS if you're based in America you need to make sure that you have your website is up to date the speed of your website's up to date you have your security up to date on your site and you need to make sure that your your tax deductible status is located on your website or your EIN is located somewhere on your website and you have valid contact information so that they can see what you're doing why is this because Google goes through and crawls your site with crawler Bots to make sure that everything is compliant so that way you when when they see that your website makes sense they approve you for Google for non-profits once you go ahead and fill out the techsoup information then you can go ahead and apply for Google for non-profits you go into Google for nonprofits you fill out the application location it takes five minutes you just have to enter your basic information and send your EIN and all that other information and the entire process takes about 10-15 minutes and once you're done it takes about four up to 14 business days to get approved and then you go in and you're able to have your your free your account with your free Google workspace and your Google ad Grant and everything else like that so I'm going to link some send some links down below to the show notes and you can take a look for yourself and see what you think but it's pretty easy pretty straightforward and that's how you apply to Google for non-profits don't forget to like And subscribe to the channel tune in next time for another great video I'm going to be talking all about how to set up your first ad campaign with Google
