hi it's stacey here and in this video i will talk about a new add-on for motopress hotel booking that many have been waiting for it is hotel booking pdf invoices it allows you to automatically email customized pdf invoices to your guests based on their booking and payment details more than that you always have access to these pdf invoices in your admin dashboard and can download and print them out at any time you can find the add-on and try it out yourself by a link in the description the add-on can be installed through the plugins tab make sure that the motopress hotel booking plugin of at least version 386 is installed and configured on your website so that the invoice addon has something to work with then click add new upload select the zip file of the addon and activate once it is activated you will be able to access the add-on settings in the accommodation tab settings extensions and invoice for now in this menu you can add information about your establishment that will appear in every invoice automatically these are invoice title company logo name company information and additional information the letter will appear at the bottom of each invoice and here is an example of how an invoice will look like with all fields filled in the other information available on each invoice is client info and booking details particularly the booking id the date when the booking was placed on your website is checking and checkout dates and the invoice date the letter is the date when this invoice was generated however it will change once there are any changes to the booking or payment info of this booking because then a new invoice is generated if you want your guests to be able to download and print out their pdf invoice on the confirmation page when they place a booking check the box invoice link on confirmation page this is how it will look like note that for the booking info and the invoice link to appear on the booking confirmed page you need to add a special shortcode to this page the invoices are generated for all approved bookings even then paid ones they will simply say how much is left to pay once you receive the payment online the invoice will be updated automatically if you want to send out your guests at pdf invoice as an attachment in emails you would need to copy the email tag at the top of the settings page pdf invoice and paste it into the approved booking email template that you can find in the customer emails tab here is what your guests will receive in their mailbox depending on their mail client they may see right away that there is an attached invoice then they can easily view download and print it out the website manager can see the invoices on the page of each booking these are all the settings for the addon let us know if you have any questions or thoughts in the comment section below like the video if you liked it and subscribe to our channel to stay up to date with our wordpress tutorials and product reviews thank you for watching and have a great one you
