[Music] hey guys what's going on out there this is Wayne with Tre County lockman service and today we want to talk about your invoices this can be one of those things that sets you apart and makes you look a little bit more professional in your area Okay a nice clean invoice that has some of your affiliate uh if you're part of Better Business Bureau and you can use their logo American Lo or Associated locksmith of America aloa um this is going to give you some credibility and I really like the fullsize papers like this I get a nice big watermark in the back that way they know it's me they can see it they can relate to it uh it's a recognizable figure and they go ahead and they know who they're calling every single time I've had people say that they've saved my invoices just for the phone number um and to make sure that they got me back um and this is just a great way to promote your business while keeping yourself secure and uh you know as far as liability and stuff goes there's a lot of room on these full page invoices for a disclaimer okay so I will post uh what's in my disclaimer and uh my warranty and stuff online so if you want to use that you can go ahead and feel free to um you know it paid somebody to to uh an attorney to come up with this information so it's already it's already bought and paid for um and uh it it really kind of helps protect you and just having this nice full page allows a lot of notes to you know remind yourself of exactly what happened and the events that occurred at any particular location and then what I really like to do is set up my invoice up here okay I know whether it's cash check or credit and and at the end of every month I do a tally on all of these different boxes that I have and it allows me to know where my business is coming from who's paying with what and where I need to Target my audience at uh so you know we have different advertisement techniques like the newspaper uh phone book internet and other okay so that's another thing I tally up where did all these people come from and I check that off right while I'm right there with the customer ask them hey where did I get this where did you find me at and this right here allows me to look at that at the end of the month on a yearly or monthly basis and then at the end of the year I look at that as well and I see where my money is going where is my biggest return on investment going uh I usually check other off as um if it's a referral or repeat customer uh and those are my two biggest is going to be referral and uh and repeat customer and internet um we don't do too much with phonebook anymore but we are still list listed and every now and then we get one um then we Mark whether it's commercial residential or automotive and we can go ahead and see you know where we need to tailor our marketing to whether it's commercial residential or Automotive like this so This Bar right here tells me everything I need to know about my customer and where I need to continue to put um funds in uh from my angle to continue to get that business and then there's lots of room for the customer to write up here uh you know they do have smaller invoices they have third page and half page ones but I really like the full page and you can see it's just very nice and clean comes through one two three pages triplicate copies one for the customer one for my accountant and one for me uh invoices are nice and numbered you can get like lots of colors they'll put your logo in there and these come from professional business products okay they make just about everything to to promote your business they're going to have uh customized invoices stamps uh they have stickers uh patches cups logos on just about anything you can imagine uh they can put your logo on that stuff you can find them at PBP 2000.com pb2000 right here and right here uh one of the other cool things they do is they have these really neat keychains um if you want to hand out some something that uh people keep this is it right here mine's pretty old this thing's about 3 years old um but the numbers are actually still on there like if I if I clean that up a little bit the numbers actually still stay on there so it's got my phone number on here and it's a cool little keychain they think it's cool and it's a little bottle opener so one of the marketing strategies that I used is I ordered a whole box of these and I went around and I passed them out to all the restaurants in town to all the barkeeps and stuff behind the behind the counters and told them to hand out a bunch cuz people will try and take them home with them um but uh if you hand out a bunch there then they're always going to have your phone number uh if somebody gets locked out at a restaurant they're going to have your keychain and they're going to say oh hey call the locksmith right here and the number is going to be right there so those are just some really really easy to use good to use tips uh on on how to promote your business and how to um just think of alternate ways to gain a new customer this is kind of an alternate way and then really tracking the customer is is really what I found most beneficial who's paying with what when where and why and who's where are they finding you at they find and exactly where are they finding you at uh and then you know tallying up whether you're commercial residential or Automotive seeing all that information funneling it down taking the time at the end of the month to see how much money and how much of your profit is coming in from which location and then turning that into usable data for yourself to know where you can put your funds to make sure that you're getting the best bang for bu so call B Professional business products
