now we're going to talk about reminders your volunteers are probably very busy maybe they wear multiple hats in your ministry they might serve on the band and in kids ministry maybe as an usher and also on the security team you want to be able to remind them what they're scheduled for especially if you enjoy scheduling far out into the future so we have a great feature for that called reminder emails here's how to enable reminders in your services account we're going to start from the PL page we're going to go to any one of our plans and from here we see the different times that are assigned within this plan so we're going to select our service time 9:00 a.m. and right here we can see the different teams that are assigned to that service time in this case I really want to ensure that our security and first impressions are aware of that so we're going to go ahead and set that reminder for the day before and all reminders go out at 10:00 a.m. ing uh to your time zone set up in your account so we're going to go ahead and hit save perfect and now we're going to set up for our rehearsal now we have a midweek rehearsal for our band and so I want to make sure that they're reminded about that rehearsal so I'm going to go to that time and we're going to set reminders for the choir and band here as well so uh since that is in the evening I'm going to set that reminder for the day of that way they get that the morning of that specific rehearsal so we go ahead and hit save perfect now a great uh feature with reminders is you might want to remind them that something is coming up uh or to bring their gear because maybe rehearsal is in a different location we have a great feature called notes where you can go ahead and assign a plan note uh to your team so in this case we're going to come right over here assign this to a band category and just put uh bring your gear we are rehearsing in the hall and then we can go ahead and assign that specifically to the band and the great part about this is when we save this when those reminder emails go out this is going to be included in that reminder email with them so if they have text notifications enabled they're going to get this note in that text notification but they're also going to get that in their email so that's the power of reminder emails and we give you that ability to add additional content right here with the sign plan notes and that's how you can go ahead and use uh reminder emails and set up notes in there
