welcome back to another Learning Center video with party rental planner in this video tutorial we will talk about how to email your documents from party rental planner in order to do this you will need to have an event already created and at least one document created for this event if you don't know how to create an event refer to our creating an event video in the learning center ok let's get started let's start by finding a customer who has an event to do this I will use the main menu to view my customers select the customer from the list once you've selected a customer you'll be able to view the details of this customer switch to the events tab to view all of the events by this customer select any event in the list once you selected the event a new window will open with the details of this event we've already talked about most of the tabs in our creating an event video so in this video we'll focus on the email tab the email tab is a feature-rich tab which allows you to send PDF or HTML documents to your customers in order to send these HTML or PDF documents they will need to be already created in your account if you have not created a document with party-rental planner please refer to the learning center for video on how to do this for this lesson you will need an event which already has a document created once you view the email tab you will see three main areas the first area is the email area use this area to place the two email address the subject Carbon Copy and blind carbon copy email addresses and the message body of the email separate email addresses by a comma if you'd like to add more than one email address / field the second area of the tab is the attachment section in this area you can see a list of the documents which have already been created the top area is a list of documents with a checkbox next to them if you'd like to include these documents in your email simply check the checkbox next to the item you can also preview the documents here by clicking on the View link next to the name of each document below the checkboxes is an area titled links use this area to copy and paste the URL of an HTML or PDF document into the body of the email this is a quick way to allow your customers to see the document without sending them an attachment it is up to you which method you use both are fine for sending a document to your customer you and finally if you scroll down you will see the third and final area this area is called email history once you have scheduled or sent an email the status of the email will display below use this area to keep a record of which emails you've sent and which emails have yet to been sent also notice the column titled opened you can tell if your customer has opened the email by the status in this column that's all for this tutorial if you have further questions please visit us on the web at wwwbootysha liner com or contact us by email
