[Music] my name is gretchen talbert and my sister and i own three girls catering in eagle idaho we want our clients to have the best food and the best presentation as possible we are very local business oriented so a lot of the items that we prepare are picked and harvested you know the day of we love our clients a lot of people we cater for sometimes on a weekly basis sometimes monthly sometimes just annually but we all you know have a rapport with them we remember them we're in their homes a lot of the times if it's not good for our families then we're not going to serve it so in the beginning we didn't have a system we just used our notebook and we would write down the client's name phone number what they wanted there was no way really of going back other than our handwriting other than writing notes from an account management perspective there can be a lot of error in that process so as our company grew we know we needed help five or six years ago we implemented quickbooks and that was like a game changer we could see who paid who didn't pay who needed to pay it just streamlined and made us focused just this year we decided to go on to the online version i have hired so many great chefs and employees that i don't always have to be here i can just hop on my computer at home do a bid send it out and emily can see it at the kitchen quickbooks has streamlined everything with quickbooks time tracking and scheduling our employees are able to access their schedule and log in wherever they're at i can be at home or at another event i can just tap in on my phone and i can see who's working who clocked in who's clocked out and because it's all in the app they can do it from any location implementing quickbooks with time tracking and payroll and invoicing was really the best thing for us i'm not chasing people down everything's just all in one pretty little package with quickbooks we know that our bills are being paid incoming money is correct payroll is running smoothly and we can easily see what needs to be done we're obviously a small business and every moment counts so if i can come in and knock out payroll in 20 minutes once a week that's huge i can spend those extra few hours booking events for our company which can be the difference between 10 or 15 000 of revenue for us quickbooks is part of our daily lives here it makes my job way easier i can't imagine doing what we do without quickbooks [Music]
