FBM is all about the business of fashion. Students come to the FBM department and degree programs to really learn the strategies and tools for leadership and development to manage a business. The thing that makes the FBM faculty unique is that every one of our faculty members comes to our department with at least seven to ten years of executive-level experience. So that brings a lot of contact into the department, which again is shared with the students and that's another advantage that FBM students have in our program: being exposed to many of the contacts that our faculty have in the industry. The FBM student that would be successful in our program is energetic, strong, and multitasking to balance the various courses, as well as the work and projects that are involved. A student who comes with math skills, computer skills, also help when they first get there in terms of knowing Microsoft Word and Excel and even PowerPoint, and basic language skills.
