The Painting Contractor (the Contractor) hereby agrees to execute the following services in consideration of the Client’s payment of the following amount $

1. Contractor will prepare the Client’s Property (the Property) at (street address, city, state, zip code), for painting, washing surfaces as needed, disinfecting surfaces as needed, and applying a primer coat and sanding surfaces as necessary.

2. Contractor will place (number) of coats of (type of paint) to the following rooms and surfaces on the Property:

(describe rooms and surfaces).

3. Contractor will clean any drips or spills and “over painting” and remove all of Contractor’s materials and debris from the Client’s property at the completion of contract.

4. All materials are guaranteed to be as specified and all work shall be performed in accordance with the above mentioned specifications and in a professional and timely manner.

5. Client will pay the Contractor $ upon acceptance of this Contract, and $ upon the completion of the Painting and the clean up.

6. Additional duties of Contractor shall consist of but are not limited to:

A. Reviewing work site;

B. Planning the work process;

C. Preparing the work area;

D. Moving furniture as needed;

E. Assuring adequate ventilation;

F. Masking and surface protection of areas not being painted; and

G. Leaving work area clean and free of debris at the end of each workday.

7. Contractor shall adhere to appropriate safety precautions and requirements needed to do the assigned job and is responsible to supply safety equipment as necessary to accomplish the work assignment.

8. Contractor’s workmanship shall meet the best standard practices of the trade.

9. Any damage caused by Contractor shall be repaired by Contractor in an appropriate and timely manner.

10. Contractor will finish this painting job on or before (date).
