Whereas, Owner was involved in an automobile accident with ___________________ (Name) of ___________________________________________________________________ _______________ (street address, city, county, state, zip code) , hereinafter referred to as Responsible Party ; and Whereas, Responsible Party has entered into an agreement with Mechanic to repair the Owner’s automobile (the Automobile ), said Automobile being more particularly described as:  Make ____________________________  Model ____________________________  Year ____________________________  VIN ____________________________  Color ____________________________ Whereas, Owner wants to insure that Mechanic does not attach a lien to Owner’s Automobile should Responsible Party fail to timely pay Mechanic for said repairs; Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: The undersigned Mechanic does hereby waive any rights he now has or may hereafter acquire to a lien on the Automobile and agrees to seek collection for the payment of the repairs of Automobile from Responsible Party alone.
