ID-DO-2A INSTRUCTIONS When should this form be used? This form should be used when the parties desire to enter into a Separation Agreement to be effective immediately and to provide for a fair and just distribution of their property and to make reasonable and adequate provisions for the support and maintenance of either party. The settlement and support arrangements are intended to apply from this time forward, irrespective of divorce, based upon the acceptance and ratification of the Agreement by both parties.
