In a civil action pursued against you for the above amount, you may be liable for either compensatory damages and liquidated damages of: Fifty dollars, if the value of the check was fifty dollars or less; One hundred dollars, if the value of the check was more than fifty dollars, but not more tha n one hundred dollars; One hundred fifty dollars, if the value of the check was more than one hundred dollars. or damages in whichever of the following amounts is greater: Two hundred dollars; Three times the value of the check. If you should prevail in the civil action, you may be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees, the cost of defending the action, and any compensatory damages that can be proved.
