Graduate Student Financial Aid Application All Graduate students must complete this form by April 15, 2011 For all Graduate Students Applying for Federal Loans:  Complete the General Information section, the Domestic Students section and the Additional Registration Information section.  When completing the Domestic Students section, make sure to complete both the number of credit hours that you intend to register for each semester and the amount of loans and/or work-study that you anticipate needing for each semester. You must be registered for at least 6 credit hours or ESM 999 (register dissertation) to be eligible for federal loans.  If you are unsure about the amount of funding you will need, then estimate. You may decline or reduce your loan(s) within 30 days of the disbursement date (which is generally 10 days before the start of each term). Additionally, you can increase your loan amount at any point during a semester.  Please note that there is no tuition charge for ALC 280Z, 290Z, 400 level courses and ORC 420Z or PED 471. If you register for any of these courses, you need to inform our office immediately since you cannot receive federal aid for courses that have no tuition charge.  Keep a copy of this completed form for your records. If you register for a different number of credit hours than you reported on this form, you will need to contact the Financial Aid Office with your updated enrollment information. A difference in the number of your reported credit hours versus your actual credit hours will delay the disbursement of all financial assistance.
