MOTT LAKE – BLUEBELL BEACH E. COLI TOTAL MAXIMUM DAILY LOAD (TMDL). The draft C.S. Mott Lake – Bluebell Beach pathogen TMDL is available for comment. This water body is located in Genesee and Lapeer Counties, and was included on Michigan’s Year 2010 Section 303(d) list due to elevated E. coli levels. The draft TMDL is being developed to identify the pathogen reductions necessary to meet water quality standards. A public meeting will be held on June 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. EDT, at the Genesee Township Hall Boardroom, 7244 North Genesee Road, Genesee, Michigan, to describe and take comments on the draft TMDL.
