Installer Sales and Service, Jobber Service, and PBE will be know as The Company through the body of this form. I PURPOSE To ensure that employees have a work environment free from unreasonable interference, intimidation, and hostility or offensive behavior by managers, supervisors, co-workers, suppliers or customers. II POLICY The Company will maintain a workplace free of harassment of any kind and from any source by investigating all complaints immediately and thoroughly. The employee hopes to prevent frivolous or malicious accusations, while maintaining confidentiality to the extent possible, for the parties involved. III EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES a. Be certain that offensive behavior is discriminatory or harassing on the basis of sex, age, race, national origin, religion or disability. b. Let the offending person know that you do not approve of the behavior and that if it does not stop (or happens again) you intend to file a complaint in accordance with the company procedure. c. Find witnesses or other substantiation to support your complaint. IV MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES a. Refrain from all forms of discrimination and harassment. b. If unacceptable behavior is observed, ask the offending individual to stop immediately, while explaining The Company policy. c. Cooperate fully in any investigation that is based on a complaint.
