How do you know you're ready for another relationship rather than trying to fill a void?
This is a sensible question. Thank you for asking.Unfortunately, hindsight is often 20/20, and far too often, people have rebound relationships to fill the void of their last one. They do this for any number of reasons—for sex, for money (or all the things money can buy), for company, for social and familial approval. But, when they actually think about it, the person they have picked is good enough but not someone for whom they feel intensely and intimately. And they may not even be remotely compatible.I call this the “I Guess You’ll Do” Syndrome. It’s easier for those of us who don’t have relationships to fill a void to spot people who do habitually do this. Logically, I know that someone who’s only been out of a long relationship or marriage for three to six months is not going to have overarching compatibility on his mind. He probably wants somebody, just anybody. And while I do believe that such a person is capable of making a commitment, the problem is that said commitment is to whom.Speaking anecdotally, I always knew when I was just attempting to fill a void after a past relationship ended. I found myself on the other side of the table with some guy thinking that it would be so cool if he wanted to go to the midnight show at the Alamo Drafthouse South, binge-watch old episodes of Star Trek, or hang out at Flipnotics coffee shop on a weekend night—all of the things I loved doing with my former signNow other. I wanted my date to have my ex’s wit and goofy sense of humor; I wanted him to be engaged in eclectic hobbies, to read copiously, and to love talking about history.I didn’t see my date as a unique individual with different likes and dislikes, and I wasn’t about to give him a chance—it was all about what I wanted. I probably let a lot of really nice guys slip past by ruminating in the past, but I was not at a mental or emotional place where I could open up to someone completely different. Once I found myself curious about other men, that’s when I knew I was good to go.

How can you justify giving 17,160 acres of land to Bangladesh against 7,110 acres by the Indian government?
Have a close look at this map. This Indo-Bangla Border area. Your question is regarding the Orange dots which are in green area and green dots in orange area. Now, All Oranges are enclaves , it is India surrounded by Bangladesh. There are people living in those places. They cannot shop in India, they cannot go to Indian schools. They take bath in India and have to cross to Bangladesh to dry their towels. There are 106 Indian enclaves and 92 Bangladeshi enclaves. They cannot be given any social or economic security, every international law becomes applicable to fill in the potholes of the non existing roads.Number of acres is just a number here, as these kind of real estate would not get valuated beyond a Rupee.Govt. of India is trying to normalize this situation and have a proper border. Making it aar ya paar (this side or that side). The prime ministers of India and Bangladesh signed a Land Boundary Agreement in 1974 to exchange enclaves and simplify the international border. A revised version of the agreement was finally adopted by the two countries.41 years later, The enclave residents were allowed to either reside at their present location or move to the country of their choice.Such small clean ups add to a better living... step by step(Thanks to all those who promoted :) grateful

What are the methods to get more sales and leads in software services/solutions?
As cloud computing and open APIs continue to flourish, companies are now able to choose among a variety of tools and build their own sales stack that suits their sales process. Not to mention SaaS tools are now becoming more accessible. To get those leads and close sales, you need to build a sales stack that perfectly fits the various stages of your sales process. The key to getting more sales is understanding your sales process so you can identify which areas you need to improve and focus on. Study various experiences, documentation, and practices so you’ll see how your funnel unfolds. In essence, here are areas that needs to be fully optimized and improved.CRMThe CRM is the main repository of records for sales teams and other organizations within a company. It has the capacity to sync different departments from sales development, marketing, finance, and other branches so everyone gets a top-view of the company. It’s very important for gathering, documenting, storing, and managing data from all business interactions. Integrating your CRM and your phone system with a CTI is a great way to capture data. I highly recommend Tenfold. It’s got many features, including click to dial and call logging. Having call analytics data will enable you to identify the weaker points in your sales process and in each agent’s daily performance. From this information, you can form a training plan that targets such areas for improvement, making better use of your time and resources.Predictive analyticsPredictive analytics is a solution that gives companies forecasting taken from the company’s previous data. Radius says it identifies how that customer will behave in a future situation and how they may react to the various touchpoints a business has with them. The distinction lies in the ability to almost automatically discover patterns in data that show problems and identify opportunities.”Data stored in the CRM help leaders make inferences but these will be limited. Predictive analytics solutions help your sales teams be more efficient with the help of predictive modeling. With the rise of predictive lead and account scoring, you should build out your sales stack with smarter sales activities in mind. This will help you multiply the results of your efforts with the help of tech.Sales enablementWhen you’re calling your prospects, you have to keep in mind that you’re most likely competing with hundreds of other sales reps. You need to stand out by emphasizing the value you deliver in every interaction. Engaging your prospects with valuable content has proven to be one of the best ways to position yourself as a trusted resource. Sales enablement software equips your team with the ability to send out the right type of content at the right time. Content that’s sent should augment a rep’s selling efforts. Ultimately, it should move the decision-making process further into the sales process.

Why didn’t the Obama administration sell Patriot anti-missile system to Turkey when they wanted to buy it? With that refusal, ho
It is a very complex story, but it boils down to this.Turkey has requested to buy the Patriot system three times. The first two attempts failed because of the refusal of the US to sell them the latest version, the US wanted to sell them an older version. The third time, the US was willing to sell them the latest version (2018), but by then the contract for the S-400 had already been signed (2017).There were however additional financial problems. The initial cost estimate was 1.3 billion USD but when the US presented a detailed offer, it was 7.8 billion!Negotiations about the exact composition of the Patriot system (radars, radios, missiles, launchers, training missiles, etc.) resulted in figures being tossed around between 2.5 and 3.5 billion.Turkey could live with the steep 3.5 billion estimate and the deal was nearly concluded … until the US bumped it up to 4.6 billion.Even at this point, Turkey was willing to go with the Patriot system provided NATO would chip in. Since 2013, NATO had been helping out Turkey with its air defence which included financial support and Spain even deploying some of its Patriot systems in Turkey and Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the US providing additional assets.Meanwhile, Turkey had already signed the S-400 contract for 2.5 billion. At the time of the signing, the US didn’t object, although NATO, who bears the cost for integrating the S-400 into the rest of NATO’s air defences, said there would be compatibility problems that would result in a higher integration cost. The US assumed Turkey would cancel the S-400 contract but since a lot of Turkish Air Force pilots were dismissed after the failed 2016 coup, they are short on fighter pilots.Turkey wants to fill the air defence gap as soon as possible and this means deploying an SAM system as soon as possible. Delivery of the S-400 began in July 2019 … the US still hasn’t even started production of the Turkish Patriot equipment.During all this time, the media in both Turkey and the US misrepresented the situation only adding oil to the diplomatic fire.It is a typical government screw up.

What are some good one-minute feel-good short stories?
"Tell me the answer " ---- shouted the angry maths Prof at a timid , messed up naive engineering fresherMost of days, the lady prof finds this scared boy sitting at back and throws him out of class for being "not attentive"Miles away his parent in village hoped that their boy is doing well at school. His father would go on cycle to field rather than taking bus. His mother would walk to market rather than taking rickshaw to save money for feesDuring initial days, he would try to remain stern face , since meaning of being man in downtown is not to weep.Soon he became accustomed to it. Since it is typical Indian college , he heard or sits in fear of hearing those rants for 75% of semester days to get that attendance. Every day he goes back home and count how many more classes he has to attend. To be true, fear of hearing those humiliations is much worse than actually listening to humiliation as he sits tight anticipating every second about what is going to happen. A single glance is enough to make his throat dry.Every night, his mother would ask on phone - How is he? ( Exact words- " Babu kaisa hai tu)And He would say - I am fine, you take care of yourself ("Theek hu Maa, tum thek se rehna")At end of semester, Teacher came to boy and said - I could not believe you scored 89/100 in end semester. Boy in fear asked teacher to repeat, Teacher said loudly in irritated voice- How could you score so high in end semester exams?Boy - Mam I scored highest in midterm too , when you have rechecked my sheet to show class that I might have cheated or you might be made mistake in calculation Teacher in louder and angered mode - But you never understood anything in class and could not answer any questionBoy - Mam, I am partially deaf. And for those who cannot study from teachers, they have books. He gathered some courage and told - If anyone cannot answer that does not mean he does not know the answer. He might be unable to hear itBoy passed from college, went to some awesome schools afterwards, did a satisfying cool high tech job and has wonderful friends. He also bought a workable ear machine initially from his masters scholarship and later on bought imported hearing aid with his first salary. He now believes , world is very nice place , he just need to be at right place and among right peopleWell, that boy is meEdit 1: I don't hold any grudges against that teacher. I strongly believe two ideas are must to remain happy :1.Forgiveness2.AcceptanceActually from that incident, I learnt that I am responsible for all that humiliation by being introvert and not telling her. From then on wards, I started telling professors about my problem. And Life has become much better afterwards. I owe her in sense that she made me realize few things about myself which paved path for happy life.Edit 2: I was asked how I can hear on phone? I can hear on phone but not in class since i am partially deaf and phone is very close to ear while talking.Think of hearing loss as short nearsightedness, if you wear glasses that does not mean you are blind, you cannot see the board but can see person next to you.The only difference is glasses can come at Rs 200 but a modest hearing aid comes at least Rs 20,000 and good one at Rs 1Lakh. Bad hearing aid further destroys ear. I face issues when people talk from distance especially in closed room. It is simple friss law of physics where signal power is inversely proportional to square of distance. It is just that my reception sensitivity is low.Edit 3: Next part of story is written in my another answer at Arpit Singh's answer to What is a split-second decision you made that changed your life?

Do therapists and psychologists have moments when they don't know what to say to their clients? If so, how do they handle the si
of course we do! as we become more experienced it happens less often. yes there are times when we want to laugh and cry with our clients.when we do not know what to say we act like other people. there have been times I have simply patted a shoulder offered a tissue, a drink of water, a few times I was honest and said simply, I do not know what to say - I do not think I believed the client. So many different situations so many different things which could be said. if you have a possible situation role play it out in your head of possible responses.

What is your biggest cultural shock from visiting America?
I have been to many cities and lived in few… so here’s my takeStruggle - Beneath the glorious and over fantasized “American Dream” is the harsh reality that Americans slog their back off to survive. On an average 35% Americans are doing more than one job, either to pay bills or to signNow a level of life-style that they aspire for. American Dream is not a fallacy. But Americans are really wanting to work hard to achieve it.Diversity - Well, i am adding this point after 2 years in USofA. Ever noticed !! The corner petrol pumps and most of 7–11 shops are owned by Indian. Similarly, most restaurant and bakery (donuts) are run by Chinese/orients. Mexican happens to be the gastronomical high for all foodies here. The point is - USA is indeed the land of opportunity; if you have a dream, this country can enable you to get there.Wooden Homes - Now, I of course understand the economic/cultural/ecological rationale for preference - but .. I was unspeakably bewildered to witness homes made of wood. I haven’t yet ‘got myself accustomed to the wooden floors and wooden walls… there is this eerie sensation… oh my gawd .. the bath tub will just crack thru the floor ( I am on 2nd floor) while my ablution routine is on…. Scary !!Transportation - If you want to experience America, hit the road. I am astonished with the kind of trailers that I get to see - Semi Trailers, Travel trailers, Truck Trailer and most interestingly, a boat trailer. I always marvel at the unique concept of Mobile homes. In Seattle, owning a boat or pursuing a rowing habit is way-of-life. Its not a show-off.Daylight saving time- Almost 100 years since this was implemented, it's shocking to note that such an advanced nation still does a flip flop of clock, come every March and November. Americans are infamous for lacking a culture of financial savings and the saga of food wastage is never ending, and yet, they change clocks forward to save energy? I mean seriously….. ??Text me? - while America is credited for ground breaking innovation such as WhatsApp, Snapchat, Facebook, most Americans rely on plain text messages. Voicemail is extensively used to conduct business and manage relationships.Thank you for your business- Everybody in America is selling something. And they don't feel qualms about it. It's candid exchange of goods and services with each side wanting to get a great deal.Respect - I have seen a man wearing a suit and moving trash bags. I have witnessed high profile executives addressing the Uber Driver, the barista at coffee shop as Sir and Mam. And I know for sure that in large corporation, referring your seniors/superiors as Sir is offending. And this is shockingly divergent from a culture that I come from.Traffic - 911 and cops and fire trucks and Medics are truly first responders. But, despite every American driving on an average 60–100 miles per day at an average of 60 mph - i never see them crossing the white lines on red light, never see them disrespecting pedestrians, never see a pedestrian crossing without the WALK. I see everyone clearing the streets in 30 seconds when they hear a fire-truck or medic at a long distance. This is overwhelming. Americans looks to be in tearing hurry, always, but this is so awe-inspiring.Waiting - This comes naturally to all Americans - they can wait in traffic lanes depending on which direction they are turning, they can wait at coffee shops till the server has finished serving the previous customer, at ticket counters, at football games .. you name it. Despite their aggressive stances , Americans can wait like no other culture.Tipping - It took me time but now the lowest tip i ever give is 15%. Its a cultural thing. And now I have learnt to enjoy the tipping. I look forward to tip extra to someone who have been extra nice. Its an economy on its own.Penalty - In America, you are good with anything till you are caught. And the day/night you are caught, your life would change. Take for example Driving under influence (DUI) - cost if found approximately $15000–20000 cash and 6–12 months of cessation to Driving licence. If you are caught DUI - you can never be a commercial driver (bus, trucks or Uber etc). I jumped a red-light and within 14 days I had picture, video link etc to my offense and I sheepishly paid $125 as penalty.Work Ethic - Average start time of most American at office is 630 AM . Yeah you heard me right. In my country, people dont even get up before 7 AM. Average time to bed for most Americans (no the ones who do multiple jobs) is 9 PM. A meeting will always start on time. People will always join 2 minutes earlier to the calls.Expensive ? - contrary to the common belief - I believe -America is not exorbitant to live in. Clothes, Coffee, Food, Shoes, Cars - the things you need on a daily basis - are surprisingly affordable. Whats expensive is a) Rent b) Travel including Cabs/Uber/Lyft and c) HotelsDrive Thru - American thrive on efficiency - time is of signNow essence - A staggering 67% of McDonald sales is thru Drive thru. That’s insane !! Americans don’t dine out - they pick outside food and eat on way or at office or parking lots. Many of these thoughts are contextual to the background that I come from and may not be shocking to a large number of people. But my background is inherent part of my being and hence the world is how i see it. Cheers

What is the most aggressive sales tactic you've ever seen?
UPDATE: Wow my first answer to break 100 upvotes! Thanks for the support guys :)Here’s a recent story about how I almost got conned at my local bank branch.I had gone to the local POSB Branch to register my new identity card. While the helpful lady at the counter was taking down my details, this overly enthusiastic young bloke (let's call him Joe) comes up besides me and smiles.Joe: Hi Sir, I'm Joe the branch manager. I noticed you've been banking with us for the past five years, but you're getting a very low interest rate. I'm authorized to give you a better rate. Let me know when you're finished here and I'll confirm the new rate.I finish up at the counter and join Joe in his office.Joe started to explain how as a POSB Multiplier account holder I was getting 1.08% interest on my savings. He went on to say that to get a higher interest rate, I'd have to perform more transactions using the account. He acknowledged that this was very complicated and customers had asked for something simpler.Joe then went on to describe a new savings plan for customers who were Permanent Residents or Citizens and who had banked with then for more than 5 years. This savings plan was very straightforward and would earn a guaranteed interest rate of 3.3%.That's right. 3.3% annual interest. Guaranteed.I clarified with him that the interest rate would be for the life of the account and would be guaranteed. He said yes. Repeatedly. He then went on to explain the plan:- I would put in $1,000/month for the next 10 years (i.e. $120,000 in total)- At the age of 38 I would stop the contributions, but the account would continue earning 3.3% interest till I was 43.- At 43 I would get a guaranteed $165,000.Wow. That sounded amazing. I'd been researching various investment and savings plan and had not seen a guaranteed rate of 3.3% anywhere.I was hooked.Joe asked me for my identity card. I said it was still with the lady at the counter. He went out to get it.While he was outside I started looking through his immaculate office. There was a little Zen garden, books on insurance, and plastered across three walls were row upon row of certificates awarded to Joe. They were all for different achievements, but there were two words which stood out: "Top" and "Insurance".Joe came back and asked me if I would like to deduct the $1,000/month from my Savings or Multiplier account. I said Multiplier.Joe said "great, I'll get it setup"Then I stopped myself. Nothing had been signed or explicitly agreed. I didn't even know what he was setting up. A new POSB savings account, I assumed.I asked Joe to first send me some documentation about the plan. I wanted information on what would happen if I stopped contributions to the account. He said that he couldn't send me documentation until I signed up. But not to worry there was a 14-day cancellation period.I pressed him to show me something about the plan. So he pulled out his iPad and started keying in my information. Pretty soon he had generated a cookie cutter life insurance quotation. And in big bold letters were the words "Non Guaranteed Rate."So I asked Joe, why does it say “Non Guaranteed”. Joe tells me that the company has been declaring at least that interest rate for the past 10 years and once it's declared it's guaranteed. Then I said, look it says Non Guaranteed.Joe smilef and tells me to call back if I'm ever interested and showed me out of his office. So let's summarize:- Manager promises me a preferential rate because I've been a long-standing customer- He mentions that the rate is only applicable for PRs or Citizens- He almost signs me up before finally showing me the quotation. All this for a pretty standard investment linked life insurance policy.I'm lucky. I've spent the last 6 months researching all this to see through the BS.But can you imagine what would happen to an unsuspecting auntie who's just trying to put money away for retirement? If you want to understand how people are cheated and stuck with debt, look no further.

Frequently asked questions
How do i add an electronic signature to a word document?
When a client enters information (such as a password) into the online form on , the information is encrypted so the client cannot see it. An authorized representative for the client, called a "Doe Representative," must enter the information into the "Signature" field to complete the signature.
How do you do an electronic signature in good docs?
What is the proper way to do this? Can you show me one?
What about a "paper trail" which is an electronic signature, but with some extra paperwork?
A "paper trail" is an important part of digital signatures. It allows people to verify the signature by looking for the signature itself and for the date it was made. If we had no paper trail, a hacker can just sign whatever they like without checking any dates or signatures.
It is important to remember that it is possible to create a "bad" file, and to do this, we need to check how it was generated. An example for a bad file would be a file with the word "crickets" in it.
It's not hard to create a "bad" signature. If somebody is trying to commit a crime, they might write the wrong code, or sign their name backwards. But a hacker could also use a machine to make a copy of a file and then change its file size. If we had no paper trail, it's hard to know which file changed how often. If we had a "paper trail" then we could be sure that a change in file size was not just done by accident.
It's also important to remember that the person who does the "bad" file may already be a hacker and trying to pass themselves off as a person who was a hacker.
You have two possible choices to check the paper evidence: (1) get in touch with the person who made the file and ask him for his evidence; or (2) get in touch with the person who signed the file for his evidence.
This was a question originally posed on Stackoverflow. It can be solv...
What is authenticity page for electronic signature?
What is authenticity page? Authenticity page, or a validating signature, is used when there is a need to authenticate the identity of an electronic document or when it is necessary to check whether a person has an actual (not just a copy) signature on a document. If you want to check whether the signature of a person is real, your best option is to use one of the following methods: 1. Use cryptographic signature. The cryptographic signature has the effect of verifying that the document was signed by the person who is claimed to be the author of that document. 2. Use public key cryptography, such a public key encryption method. A public key method makes use of public information, like a cryptographic key, to encrypt a secret message that you then transmit to someone else. This method makes use of public information to prevent someone who knows the public key to encrypt the message from decrypting it. 3. Use an asymmetric cryptography method. A private key is a number that is used in the process of generating a public key encryption protocol, and it is not public. Thus, it is possible to hide the identity of whoever you are sending a message to and thereby protect that person. 4. Use an asymmetric cryptography method and use another public key. It is also possible to use other ways to hide your identity if you want to. The most common ways of hiding identity are through encryption, encryption and authentication (public key or private key). You can see a list of all these metho...
