What is the best password management software for cross-platform use; comparing KeePass, 1Password, and LastPass? Best would be:
I used to teach a cyber security course to the spec ops community and at different points provided the students with either LastPass or 1Password. I have very little familiarity with KeePass and others. A few thoughts based on my experience:Choose 1Password if:You are Mac onlyYou highly value a gorgeous app (emphasis on Mac only - their Windows version is as ugly as the Mac version is beautiful)Your prefer a relatively steep upfront cost (~$50 or so, I think, plus $10-$15 for iOS app) to an ongoing subscription. You don't mind the cost jumping to $70 if you use both Windows and Mac.You need basic strong password generation and storage, confidence in the security of your password file, the convenience of browser extensions, and a good mobile app that will sync, and nothing else.Choose LastPass if:Free is important (note you won't get mobile access without paying)You use Windows (only or alongside Macs)You don't mind a less-than-pretty, less-than-intuitive designYou prefer $12/year (if you need the mobile app - otherwise it's free) to the high upfront cost of 1PWYou need any of the following features (in addition to those I mentioned above for 1PW): - 2 factor authentication - the ability to share access to a password with someone else (e.g. a spouse or employee). Note I said 'access' - they won't see the actual password unless you want them to, but will still be able to use it for log in. - Master password entry via an-screen keyboard (so you don't have to worry about key-loggers - for example in a hotel business center or an internet cafe) - 1-time passwords (useful for defeating key-loggers and for account recovery) - super-easy access to your passwords when using a computer other than your own. This is also possible using 1PW, but requires a little more work.As for me, I'm torn. I'm Mac only and love the 1PW UI, but I'm currently trying to force myself to migrate to LastPass for the sake of some of those extra features (especially the sharing).Hope this helps!

When simplified characters were implemented in China in the 1950s, how difficult was it to change every sign and literature in a
To preface, signs and other edifices are naturally replaced as they age, especially ones that don’t age particularly well (read: most of them).China in the 1950’s was a rural, very poor, post-war society. The amount of signs are minimal, especially in the rural areas where the vast majority of people lived. So here, signs were simply erected for the first time, and they used simplified characters, which seems pretty simple.Literature wasn’t changed. The vast majority, again, could not read more than a few words, if at all. There was no backlash against Traditional characters, just a process to change to the new one. Books, which previously were hard to come by and printed in small numbers, were made available to more than just the extremely privileged few of the KMT regime, printed on cheap paper and mass-produced, so that all men and women would be able to go to school, read textbooks, read literature that was just a dream for all but the 1% just a decade prior. There were even public classes which taught the public how to read Chinese; again, something only for scholars and intellectuals before; my grandparents took time out of their days to attend. All the new material, expressly for the ease of learning for hundreds of millions of peasant masses, was printed in simplified Chinese to be easy to remember and recognize.Yet again, there was no backlash against Traditional characters. They were simply phased out, newspapers and signs and books were printed in simplified characters. In the many historical monuments, no attempt was made to replace the characters there; they’re still in traditional characters, and you can even see some of Chairman Mao’s calligraphy in Traditional Chinese. Street signs aplenty use Traditional characters for flair, and they’re especially prevalent among old-fashioned places like traditional pharmacies, teahouses, and places with calligraphy.

Should a new site implement Google Sign-in or should it encourage users to sign in using their email?
Depends on the business you are building. If you will have a tight connection with Google, then requiring a Google sign in will attract a better target user base for you. If not, then you may as well add the email/pw sign in too.If you’re developing a business app you don’t need FB sign in.

If a Democrat is elected President in 2016, how likely it it that s/he will be able to implement signNow economic changes?
By themselves, a president has limited powers. POTUS cannot legislate, the executive's purview is implementing the laws. The sorts of change stipulated in the question would require a cooperative legislature, and at this point that has to mean a democratic sweep of both houses. The odds on this happening are long, but not unheard of. For example, it happened in 2008- but there was actually only a 6-week window in which the Democrats had enough seated senators to take any action (due to extended litigation/challenges of Franken's seat, and the death of senator Kennedy and his replacement by Scott Brown, a Republican). This demonstrates a willingness on the part of the GOP to exploit every and all possible means to oppose and obstruct a Democratic majority.Historically, Democrats do well in presidential years in which they've got a strong candidate at the top of the ticket. It's not inconceivable that in driving voter turnout, the democrats could flip the legislature in their favor. The GOP enjoys some structural advantages in terms of legislative representation- the Dems have to do better than they do by a fair margin; for example, the GOP has recently won more seats as a percentage of seats than they have won votes as a percentage of the popular vote. Gerrymandering Rigged the 2014 Elections for GOP Advantage | BillMoyers.comIn other words, it takes a watershed election for the Democrats to sweep both houses- the GOP have to have crashed the economy and left the country on fire for enough democrats to be motivated and unified enough to turn out in large numbers. As a consequence, it is possible but unlikely that a Democratic president will be able to implement these sorts of changes.

How can I implement a single sign-on in ASP.NET webform applications?
What is single sign-on (SSO)?To access any security page in the web application, the user needs to authenticate and if the user wants to access many web applications, the user must log in separately for each of those applications. Multiple logins can be removed with Single sign-on, that is, users only have to log in once and can access many web applications. You can deploy a single login in the Microsoft ASP.NET | Open-source web framework for .NET Official Web Form with SAML.As I know, SAML is the oldest standard, developed since 2001. It is an open standard that provides both authentication and authorization / authorization ( authorization).Technically it is similar to the other two standards, you can learn more about it through the keyword: "SAML" to understand its working nature. Also, you may want to learn about SSO, SP, IdP for sureYou can try this third-party SAML Single Sign On for .NET. It offers SSO access to your cloud & intranet sites using single credential entry throughout the process.
